I tried to open my mouth once more to warn him for the last time but all that proceeded was the smoke of my burning vocal cords and organs, this fiery Energy had even begun scorching my insides.
-{The Rebound Is Much More Stronger Than I Thought. There Are A Few Options And Since None Of Them Are Any Good I Think You Should Choose On Your Own.} Athena finally spoke out.
"Anything." I replied to her in desperation.
The Words that I had totally forgotten existed appeared before my eyes again with three options.
-{1: Continue Sustaining Your Life And Preventing The Rebound From Executing It's Will Until The Effect Of Rebound Passes Over.}
-{2: Leave The Rebound To Proceed With What It Wills.}
-{3: Cease To Sustain Your Life So The Pain Shall End Altogether.}
The options appeared one by one and when the final one revealed itself it was like the energy inside of me began to rage like never before and the pain I felt spiked to its highest possible point.
It wasn't an option that I would enjoy myself so I could relate to the Sentient Energy that the consciousness left behind.
If I diligently waited for the Rebound to end then I would lose the thing that is protecting me from this monster before me.
He defeated Zane and Whitlock without much of his hearing and I know that Great Dragons Battle Cry at point blank range surely would have ruptured his organs, but he still won. Even though the brothers both possessed Volitions which if I am not mistaken make them get the attributes of specific Beasts.
There was only one valid and intelligent option that I could possibly pick.
"Leave the Rebound to proceed with what it wills, Athena." I replied.
-{The Pain Won't End Here. Be Ready.} She said in warning.
"This guy is weird; how does he possess this much Brio? He is still going at it trying to protect himself." Christopher genuinely asked.
"Sir, we can just leave this one, he has been established to simply be an ignorant tool. Whitlock is not even unconscious and with his Paragon Axolotl Volition he is regenerating at a Quick pace. We can't tell when The Witch Madden will escape her disillusioned state or when the short one will awaken, we best go now." The same person that warned him from moving closer warned him once more.
Suddenly, atop my already turbulent mind I was fed with rough and risky ideas, which I couldn't help but think of as rational.
I forced myself to my feet, withstanding all of the pain that I was feeling and felt every one of my organs tilt a little with each slight movement I made.
My mind was cluttered and chaotic.
My body was literally being scorched.
But I still wanted to stay up.
For some reason I hated that Christopher and his men were constantly looking down on me.
"Call me Ignorant one more time." I said with an almost dead voice.
Everyone present in that part of this crypt became plagued with extreme fear and they could barely even move, but Christopher thought differently from his men.
-{What The Hell Do You Think You Are Doing!!?} Athena protested.
I simply ignored her.
"A dare? Hehe. How ignorant. You are at the brink of death and yet you think you are all that." Christopher said.
He stepped up to me and as he did he steadily released the Effect of his Energy; his purple aura, like the color of my Eyes and the Flames in the memory.
Athena was doing her thing but I felt the Rebound slowly declining and the lethal Aura was receding slowly.
"Was she too late? Has it passed over?" I thought to myself.
Christopher stepped close to me thinking that because he revealed his Aura he was able to overpower mine. But I could still feel it.
What was coming could even lead me to the door of Madam Death.
-{Be Ready} I heard Athena say finally before the event.
"I hope you enjoy reaping what you have sown, Arrogant Brat." I said in reply. I couldn't even believe I would say something like this.
But I couldn't awe over it for too long.
Much quicker than when it was receding the Aura Burst forward with extreme speed and the temperature of the surrounding area went past bearable levels and all hell broke loose.
I tried to lay one more message to Christopher but as I opened my mouth all that proceeded from it was Flame.
It was like my entire body was giving a testimony to the greatness of my Flames.
-{You Will Survive This. I Have Never Failed You.} Athena said to me to enforce my will.
I took this as a challenge and I raised my terribly burnt hand to the sky and tried to use a bit of the Energy that was welling up inside of me to make sure I thoroughly etched into any survivor's soul that I am a force not to be underestimated.
Most of the thoughts flooding through my mind were arrogant ones like the one that made me want to prove I was not to be underestimated, they were surely not my own original thoughts, but I related with them for some odd reason.
The moment I tried to utilize this lethal Rebound energy it was like I blew off my palm, I could feel the force I exerted forcing me into the ground and blowing away the ashes of those unfortunate enough to have died already.
The Regal Flames from the Memory.
They rushed forward like starving beasts and spread around the inside of the crypt, the top of the tower-like mountain literally busted off and my flames ran rampant for all onlookers to view.
"Grovel in the result of your own ignorance and Die." I said with my final hot breath.
