Synopsis

Foreword

Good day, honorable Webnovel readers.

For those likely enough to have stumbled upon this novel, I thank you for coming far enough to open this message.

This story was the very first idea (I had to revise and rewrite it.) I had as a writer from when I newly joined webnovel and I'm hoping that it can get the humble attention I dream for.

If you have come here it means my novels name or its cover or its synopsis has intrigued you, or probably because you have stumbled across my WSA Entry and liked its dark elements (Probably unlikely.), or maybe because you just like going through the entries from new authors in a Writing Prompt Contest.

Anyway, it all barely matters now.

It all boils down to this, I beg of you to at least read this novel to its 16th or 18th chapter and see if it's something for you, although the story does steadily progress and define the world, you should get the fundamental gist of it then.

I enjoy writing Dark Fantasy and this one is much less mild than my WSA Entry, the tragedies that will be taking place along the storyline of this concept will possibly be their their best, depending on your standards.

If you like my work or you think it has potential, I beg of you once more to support me with power stone votes, paragraph comments, chapter comments, reviews, collections, or shares. Whichever you do will make me happy and I will be forever grateful.

I will try to completely avoid controversial content like racial slurs and the like.

My main character is an Anti-Hero who barely gives a damn about morals or social norms and does things all to his jurisdiction.

He can kill or save lives as long as they are in his best interest.

There is someone else that I also see as a protagonist that is almost as important but he may not get too much focus until a while into the story.

The POV is from a first-person perspective and switches from time to time between people. The character holding the POV is determined by the situation. It may turn out to not have smooth transitions at the start but I'll improve.

It will not be explained in the first chapter what my MC looks like so I'll do it here.

His looks are simple, he sports really long black hair with the basic ornaments for arrangement and he wears a simple ashy-black general attire at the start. He is quite handsome, with perfectly defined features, a great light skin tone and a nicely muscular body. But he looses most of these after the first chapter.

If you read, you'll understand what I mean.

The weapon that my main character uses first is modeled after a Japanese-style chokuto (More precisely a Shinogi-zukuri tsukurikomi chokuto), but in this world of mine, it is not explicitly named and is merely called a straight sword. this is just the first weapon he uses and there are a lot more he will handle afterward.

If you get far enough to even see him wield the weapon then by that time you can decide if you think my concept has potential or not.

If you have at least read chapter 1 you should understand this: He will not show the stereotypical features and thinking of an Anti-hero for about 16 chaps. but he will be said to have. Although he will be committing wrong and rather evil deeds but he barely knows they are wrong.

All chapters prior to when he starts showing off the Anti-hero vibe are a build-up of the world and characters to have a simple basis for his behavior then, I beg of you to bare with the first volume which I use to introduce the world properly, I'm only doing it to avoid challenges.

The build-up will make it all the more satisfying, trust me.

My system indicator isn't going to be this '[ ]' but this '{ }' because of the nature of the system in the early chapters. it looks different from regular systems, that's all.

Before I publish the 40th chapter I will add more chapters to this aux volume explaining a few terms thoroughly eventually, like the kingdoms and Areas that will be introduced eventually, the military forces of those Kingdoms and Areas, the Continents, and so on. The power scaling and similar concepts will also be explained there.

For people avoiding system tropes or this particular genre or theme as a whole for your reasons, please read through, I think I made it get a lot better along the line.

Please read wholeheartedly and with patience, we can enjoy this Concept together. (And please be generous with those Power Stones, hold nothing back if you see it fit. Go nuts with those alts too, please.)

I will try to maintain the release of 2 chapters a day.

Oh and please comment your ideas and corrections, I need them to improve, also send in your reviews as well.

...

[I beg of you, do not be offended by my character name choices, character depiction, or chosen character actions (Or anything else as a matter of fact.) I believe I will not be trying to be disrespectful or offensive in any way. Thank you.]

Thank you for your time.
