Aella blinked her eyes at the male standing in front of her as she tried her best to comprehend what she just heard.
The former lady of the Castle?! Does that mean…Bane's spouse since he was the lad of the Castle?!
She felt a churn in her stomach that he just revealed his wife to her but she didn't know why she was feeling like this. Why was she feeling sad that Bane had a spouse that she didn't know about?
He said former which meant she was no longer here. Did she leave or had she died, unfortunately? Was she a human or just a demon like Bane?
Aella had so many burning questions in her mind but she could only stare back at Bane who was regarding her silently.
"Are you okay?" He asked gently, seeming disturbed by her silence.
