"Yes," the Duchess nodded her head. "I have no children of my own so you two are the only direct descendants of our family. The title is all yours."
The Baroness put her hand over Aella protectively. "Are you trying to take my daughters away from me? I do not care how big of a title it is but this is my home and you can not take my children away!"
"I never mentioned I was going to take your children, Baroness." the Duchess smiled slightly. "Besides, I do not see what you have left here. With my nephew gone, the respect you once had will diminish and the fact that you have no male child will serve as a constant taunt from society."
