"No!!"
Aella jolted awake with shock when she heard a sudden scream coming from somewhere. Squinting her eyes in the dimly lit room, she saw Bane sitting upright as he frantically looked around the room.
"Get away from me!!" Bane yelled, even though no one was in the room except her.
"B-Bane." Aella called him softly and he turned towards her. There, in his eyes, she saw something that made her get to her feet.
His golden eyes had a glint of what looked like madness, something that terrified her beyond measures.
"Stay away from me!" Bane shouted, getting up from the bed and knocking the vase on the nightstand.
"Bane!" Aella screamed, watching with horror as he stepped over the shattered glass with his bare feet.
"W-Where am I? Where am I? I need to get out of here. I need to leave here." Bane headed towards the window with unsteady feet, his blood leaving trails after him. He frantically opened the window, looking for something.
