"Aella!"
Aella coughed out as the smoke from the bomb dissipated slowly into the air. Her vision was blurry and there was a ringing sound in her ear that made her feel like puking.
"Aella, are you okay?"
Aella blinked up to see Lumen staring down at her with concern, and she nodded gently, despite her body feeling like she had been beaten severely by a wild animal.
"W-Where is...Bane?" Groggily, Aella looked around, knowing that he was the one who saved from the blast.
Her eyes caught sight of Bane leaning over something just a few steps away from her. Squinting, she saw Derake's red eyes closing, and Bane screamed out in pain.
"D-Derake." Picking up herself from the ground, Aella rushed to his side even though her legs were weak. "Bane."
Aella held Bane close to her chest and to her surprise, Bane was crying. A sight she had never seen before. Nervously, she reached out to touch Derake but he remained motionless.
