"Good evening, Lord Bane." Ralia greeted Bane as he walked out of the bedroom.
"Good evening, Ralia." Bane smiled at the maid.
"Are you heading out to see Lady Aella?" she asked and he nodded.
It has been six months since Aella left the house to start training at the barracks, and though, it was hard for Bane to stay without her, he was content to visit her every week to ensure she was safe and happy.
They would meet at an old tree just a few kilometers from the barrack and they would talk all night long, sometimes even making love under the moonlight.
Aella, who had been worried about leaving her family behind, was doing very well in the army, even getting praises from the hard-hearted Generals. There had been two other women apart from her at the beginning but one had fallen ill in the first two weeks and was taken home while the other had quit after telling Aella that she wasn't cut out for the hard situation in the barracks.
