Aella tried her best not to flinch when the Crown Prince's eyes settled on her. Her face was blank but her mind was roaming with a thousand ways she could use to wipe off that smug grin from his lips.
The more she interacted with this man, the more the hatred she had for him grew deeper.
"I-I am honored, Your Highness," Aella curtsied and wiped off the fake smile from her face as she stared at the ground. She could feel her mother release a deep breath as though she was relieved by her daughter's calm behavior.
The Baroness was aware of how much Aella despised the Crown Prince so seeing her act politely with him was like a miracle on its own. Little did Baroness Meleena know that Aella was only pretending to be kind for the plan she had with Banelion not to fail.
"And Sire Banelion, dashing as ever. Thank you for gracing the ceremony with your presence," Vladter brought his hand forth for a handshake and Banelion looked down sharply.
