"Pass me the pudding please," Aurelia said and Aella moved the dish closer to her sister.
"I am really glad with the current sales going on in the estate. With this, we can buy more goods and make double the sales next month, do you not think so, Aella?" the Baroness smiled as she buttered her bread.
"Yes, Mother," Aella replied solemnly as she turned to look at Bane.
Bane shrugged nonchantly as though he was used to it and Aella shook her head. She looked at the chair next to her mother which Rohare usually used to sit on and sighed.
It had not even been a day since he left yet the dining room felt empty without him. His voice had always been the loudest as he told silly stories to make everyone laugh.
What even scared her the most was how normal her mother and sister were acting with his absence.
