Aella walked down the hall and got into the dining room to see Bane sitting on the table as he faced her mother who sat like there wasn't anyone in the room.
A sigh left her lips at the sight. She didn't know what they needed to do to convince her mother that Bane had good intentions with them. She didn't care what anyone else thought of him but her mother was important to her.
The Baroness lifted her eyes when she noticed her presence and Aella flashed a bright smile for her immediately.
"Good morning, Mother," Aella greeted and curtsied a bit.
"Morning, where were you?" her mother's expression was blank as she asked.
"Oh, I-"
"Move out of my way!!" Aurelia stormed into the room and pushed Aella forcefully.
"Aurelia, what is the matter with you?!" the Baroness scolded but Aurelia didn't say anything and simply went to sit next to her.
"Are you okay?" Bane looked up at her with concerned eyes and she straightened up.
