Aella climbed down the stairs which led to the main hall of the mansion with Bane walking behind her. She was feeling slightly apprehensive about his presence close to her family but she didn't know how to say it to him.
She couldn't just ask him to eat inside the room and besides, it wasn't like she could hide him forever so she just had to brace herself for the worst.
She turned down to the hall which led to the dining room and her nose could already pick up the scent of the delicious cuisine that had been prepared.
Her stomach growled in response which reminded her that she hadn't been able to eat much last night due to how uncomfortable she was with the stares she got because of Bane.
She could only hope that this time would be different.
Before they got to the room, Aella stopped in the corridor as she turned back to Bane. He looked up at her with question in his eyes and she sighed.
