The Baroness was about to take the blade from Aella but she didn't let it happen. She moved her hand behind her as she stared at her mother with a stern look in her pacific eyes.
"No. I am not going to let you do what you have in mind," Aella shook her head.
"I simply want to do what you have failed to do. Aella, he is a monster and such a creature should not be your husband. No, he should not," her mother muttered.
"But he is!" Aella yelled out with irritation before she later composed herself and reduced her voice so she wouldn't wake up the people in the house.
Most of all, she didn't want to alert Bane that her mother had tried to stab him in his sleep. She knew he wouldn't react badly in any way but she still didn't want him to know about it.
"He is my husband and that is something you have to respect and accept!" She gritted out.
