Aella frowned when she saw Bane confused after she had mentioned paying respects to his wife.
It was like they hadn't talked about her before which was strange.
"What do you mean which wife? Your wife, the former lady of the Castle that you talked about with so much love in your eyes," Aella let out but kept her face straight as a small tinge of jealousy came up her chest.
Bane kept his narrowed golden orbs on her for a while before he burst out into a loud peal of laughter.
Aella stared weirdly at Bane who was laughing like he was having the greatest entertainment in his life.
But what was so amusing? She didn't think she had said anything that was funny, she was only saying the truth.
"What makes you laugh?" Aella furrowed her eyebrows as she looked down at Bane who was bent over with his hands on his knees.
"P-Pardon me? Wife? I have a wife?" Bane glanced up at her as his eyes danced with mirth.
