When she gained consciousness, she was freaked out by the blood all over her. Because of the state she was in at the moment, the humans thought that she was amongst the dead. They had her left her behind. She got up and screamed, "AHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHH!", she cried. She started panting loudly. The area was all clear, the sound of gunshots and bombs had disappeared. There was a weird vibe in this unnatural silence. Abby was screaming as she tried to wash away the blood on her face.
She was shaking for a moment, the last thing she remembers is that they loaded her friends into a car and took them god knows where. Abby tried to get back up, her unconsciousness made her dizzy and light-headed. Abby was heartbroken to see her friends and family taken away by the humans. From a very young age, Abby had developed a sense of likeness for the humans, she thought that humans and fairies could live together again in peace like they did ages ago. She knew that with a little more effort, the rivalry between humans and fairies could stop. She shared this idea with her parents and Dory but got a disgusting reply. She never gave up on her opinion and continued to find ways to bring peace. But today, she was sure about what others had warned her about. Their brutality, torture, unsympathetic behavior, and repulsive ways to gain power were now a clearer picture in her mind than ever. She knew now that there was no peace, no harmony between two different beings and that only one could prosper in this destructive world.
Abby walked away from the forest into the town. What her eyes had witnessed, left her speechless and in dismay. Her town was destroyed, the homes had fallen and bodies were lying around, covering the entire ground. She proceeded to her house to see what was left of it. She saw broken picture frames, glasses, windows, and walls. The house she grew up in was now nothing but a pile of rocks. The heartbreak sank in faster than a drowning stone. Seeing her house in this state shattered her from the inside. She went inside the broken house to find something that had survived. Abby went up to her room and found her journal, lying on the floor, a little burnt from one side. She quickly picked it up and hugged it tightly, something from inside the diary fell on the floor making a clinging sound. Abby picked it up and it was a key, the first thing she found in her parents' room, the wing key. She picked it up and ran outside. Looking at the objects in her hand made her realize that there is a lot more that needs to be uncovered, a lot more of the truth that needs to be revealed, and now was not a good time to give up.
"This is my town, my home..... no one has the right to take that away from me. I have a lot of questions that I need the answers to. There are a lot of mysteries that need to be unveiled..... I have gone too far to turn back now. I WILL FIGHT FOR MY TOWN AND I WILL FIGHT FOR MY LIFE. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR SO LONG AND NEEDS TO STOP! I am the fairies only hope now... and I will put everything at risk to save them.", said Abby to herself.
She grabbed a few stuff that survived the crash and made her way to the human world. She remembered her grandfathers' story about how he entered the human world. It was about time that she started taking things seriously. Abby followed the tracks from the big trucks the humans had bought in. She followed them to a big, dark cave. No one had ever seen this cave before. It was a long-lasting, unlit cave, there was no light, no sunlight not even a ray of light coming from the end of the cave. The entire cave was surrounded by old trees, growing their roots all over the cave top. Abby took a deep breath and made her way into the cave. She heard weird insect noises, rattlesnakes, cockroaches, lizards, and much more creeping through the cracks of the cave. The cave had a pungent smell almost like a sewer, the noise of water dripping through the wall was echoing throughout the cave.
Abby was prepared to save fairyland but she wasn't prepared to face these creepy tunnels. The tunnel was pitch-black and she couldn't see where she was headed. She tried using a spell to light up a fire but failed at attempting to light up the stick. She gave it one more try and succeeded in lighting the fire.
"Phew!", sighed Abby. "Oh my god! What on the actual hell is this?", she groaned. Abby saw the cave walls painted with blood and sand. She shone some light on it and saw an entire timeline of how fairies were tortured by the humans. There were pictures of skewers being drawn into fairies, their wings being cut off and their hearts being ripped out of their bodies. Abby gaged as she looked at this painting on the wall. She gave a ghastly expression and went on walking on the path. The pictures had placed an element of fear in her heart, "Is this how they are going to torture my friends?", she thought. Tears rolled down her eyes as she thought about the pain her friends and family might be going through right now.
Abby tried to conquer her fear and get her loved ones back. After half an hour of walking, the tunnel finally ended.
"Thank god!", gasped Abby. The end led to a huge waterfall pouring down from the rocks above her, "What the.... Where did the trucks go on from here?". said Abby in a confused manner.
She looked around but there was nothing but rocks and streams. There was no way possible that the trucks passed through the waterfall. The rocks were extremely slippery due to the water splashing from the waterfall. Abby couldn't figure out where the trucks had vanished, they couldn't have flown over the waterfall. She thought about it but nothing came to her mind. She stopped for a moment and jumped in the water to wash all the blood and mud off her face. She jumped in the water and sank right to the bottom. She hit her head and body so hard. It felt as if she fell off the balcony rather than in the water. It didn't feel like water, it was like normal air, she could breathe properly as if the water didn't even exist. She was confused and scared at the same time. She looked down to notice the tractor tracks going from underneath the water.
"This place gets weirder and weirder.", she whispered. She followed the tracks to stumbled upon another forest. She came to find out that the water wasn't water at all, it was a hallucination, it was all staged to distract the enemies and lead them away from the humans.
"Little bastards.", said Abby as she continued to follow the tracks. It was a normal-looking forest with trees and bushes. The night sky was kicking in and the dark colors merged into the clouds. Abby had seen a night sky before but had never taken in the beauty of that moment. She stopped for a while and looked at the mesmerizing sky. She was greeted with countless stars, constellations, and the shining moon. The serenity and quietness of the nearby trees swaying in the gentle breeze. The fireflies rose up from the grass and lit up the sky. Abby could hear the sound of crickets nearby. It was an entire magical moment, "Wow!.... I never thought the darkest things can bring out the most beautiful sights.", said Abby as she stared into the blanket of stars that stretched to infinity.
This incredible view put a smile on her face. She closed her eyes, spread her arms, and took a deep breath. This was the definition..... of peace. The silence in the forest was broken by a few trucks passing by. Their engines roared louder than a lion and their voices were deeper than the ocean. Abby flew into the bushes as quickly as possible, trying to stay out of their sights. "HURRY UP COME ON COME ON!", said one of the humans directing the trucks. the trucks were empty, there was no one inside. Abby was wondering why the tractors were being parked in the forest rather than the city. She laid low for a while and got up as soon as the drivers left their cars. She followed them as quietly as possible, making sure she was not spotted. A little further, was a base, an army base. It was a huge landmass consisting of several tall buildings, constructed on the sides of the rectangular ground, leaving the middle portion empty. The area was lit by a few lights and luminaires. The base was protected by big concrete walls and electric wire fences. She could hear inaudible human voices in a distance.
Abby peeked through the fence to take a look at the activities going on inside. In doing so she accidentally hit and scratched her arm with the electric wire fence. The fence zapped and Abby got an electric shock, "Ouch!", she screamed.
This disturbance had alerted the guards inside the building. They saw the wire fence and proceeded towards it with guns.
"Guard 1 proceed to the fence in the north. Guard 2 get up the stairs, if you get a visual tell me.", "Copy that.", said the voices over the walkie-talkie. Abby panicked and swiftly hid into the bushes. She laid flat on the ground as the guards pointed torches and lights into the forest. Abby covered her mouth with her hand, preventing herself from screaming out of pain.
"Visual is clear. It may just be a fly.", said the person on the radio. Just as one of the guards was about to walk off the stairs, he noticed blood on the fence. He alerted his partners using sign language so the culprit couldn't hear them. Abby thought that the humans had walked away, she got up from the bushes and stood straight. She was moaning in pain and ripped a part of her jeans to cover up her wound.
"There she is!", screamed one of the guards. They had spotted Abby in the bushes. Not a second later, bullets were fired into the forest at Abby. She sprinted on the ground and tried to fly as fast as she could to get away from these brutal monsters. She had been flying for a few moments now, the last time she looked at the base, the guards were jumping down and running to catch Abby. She thought she had lost them in the chase but she was wrong, she could hear the sounds of their footsteps getting nearer and nearer. Dry leaves crunched under the weight of their heavy boots. Every little noise sent shivers down Abbys' spine. Abby hid behind an old tree whose branches were spread wide into the forest. The guard saw something moving behind it and gradually proceeded towards the tree with his gun loaded. Abbys' heart was pounding faster than a motor, she did not want to get shot nor captured.
"Hands in the ....", said one of the guards. He looked behind the tree to find nothing but squirrels climbing the tree.
The rest of the two guards were laughing at his stupidity, "You made us jump that thing to catch a squirrel?", said one of the guards. "No, I saw something, it was a person. I know it was.", defended the guard. "Yeah right it was.", joked the other guard. They went back to their posts. Abby sighed with relief as she hid in the tree branches, right on top of the guard's head. She flew in the sky to prevent any sighting, she managed to fly into the base before the three guards guarding that area arrived.
The base was almost empty. There wasn't a lot of security in the area from which Abby had entered. Everything was very new to Abby. Back in fairyland, there were no weapons, no base, no security. The fairies lived together in peace. They used their magic as a weapon to protect them. There were huge containers and boxes in the base. She hid behind one of them and stayed there for a while. She took off the cloth from her hand and used fairy dust to heal her wound. The area she was in was extremely dangerous. Guards were shifting and roaming around, not giving her any chance to move on. The guards assembled in the space, forming rows and columns.
"My guards!... My warriors!... We have finally achieved what we have been aiming to do.", said the general as stood up on the top of the balcony. "We have captured those disgusting creatures that have roamed our land for many years creating chaos, destruction and an unbalance in nature.", he continued. Abbys' eyebrows came closer together in anger and lines formed in the middle of her forehead, "Lairs. Bloody liars.", whispered Abby as she leaned beside the container to hear what the general was saying.
"We finally have captured these creatures. They will be drained of their power and executed immediately. I don't want any one of them to survive to see another day. Take out every ounce of magic dust they have and store it in this large container.", said the general pointing at an empty container beside him. It was an enormous, clear container made of glass.
It was enough to fit the powers of the entire town.
"From now on we have a lot of work to do. But note this! This experiment must be kept a secret from the world, the government will fund us on this experiment. Don't let this news leak out and keep it to yourself. If I find out that any one of you.... anyone of you spreads this news..... I will have him hung in this very court!", said the general, "Let me give you a demonstration of what you are supposed to do.". The general clicked his fingers and two of his guards went inside the building. After some time, they came back with a machine and some knives. Abbys' frowned face turned into a worried face. When the products had arrived, one of the guards from the assembly walked towards the containers. Abby gasped and hid behind the next container. The guard opened up one of the containers with the key and took out a fairy from it. "What? They are locked here?", she stepped behind and stared at the containers. There were around a hundred containers, all stacked on top of each other. She leaned a little closer to see which fairy he had grabbed. The fairies' hands were tied with a rope and their face was closed with duct tape.
"Papa Morgan!", said Abby, "Oh no, not him.", she cried. The assemble started cheering and screaming as Papa Morgan walked out of the container. Abby's eyes flooded with tears to see Papa Morgan in this state, at this point she was extremely confused with the whole situation. She didn't know how she would get all of them out of the container without anyone else noticing. The crowd stopped screaming as the general raised his hand in the air.
"Now!...... I would like to introduce you to a very special guest. Someone, who has played an important role in this mission. Without him, we may have not been able to do this. Gentlemen.... give it up for..... Richard.". The guards started banging their guns on their shield making a loud bang noise. "Richard?", said Abby.
"Richard! You bastard!", screamed Papa Morgan as he struggled to free himself from the knots.
"We meet again Papa Morgan.", said Richard with an evil smile.
"Now. Let me show you what this does.", said Richard as he grabbed a weird-looking machine In his hand, "This..... is called the extractor. You...will use it on these fairies to drain out EVERY INCH OF MAGIC IN THEM!". He said. "Let me show you how it is done. GUARDS! Bring up this old fairy please.". The guards dragged Papa Morgan from his shirt, up to Richard. "Don't do this Richard! You will regret it.". Richard smirked and said in a deep voice, "We will see.". He grabbed the extractor in his hand and placed it on Papa Morgan's wings. "Do you remember this machine. You used it on you fairies (he smirked) What are the odds. The weapon you used against others is now a target on your back.".
Papa Morgan looked at him in disgust and kept his head down. Abby was scared to see what would happen next. She sealed her mouth with her hands as Richard rested the extractor on his wings. Weird energy spiraled the room. Richard turned the extractor on and brought it in contact with his wings. The machine sucked the magic dust from his body out through his wings. Papa Morgan's screams filled the entire atmosphere. The ear-piercing screams told how painful the extraction power was. The crowd started chanting and Papa Morgan cried out loud in pain. The fairies in the container made a muffled sound when they heard their chief scream at the top of his lungs. He took the extractor and inserted it in a hole that was in the empty container. He released the dust in the container and said, "Like this. The next step is very easy.", said Richard. Papa Morgan laid on the ground, grunting in pain. Abby was devastated to see Papa Morgan in such great pain. Richard then walked over to the other guard and took a knife from his hand. Abby started panting hard. Sweat ran down her forehead, her hands jiggled more than jelly, and her heartbeat skipped a beat. Richard picked Papa Morgan from the ground, raised his head high up, and placed the knife on his neck. The looks on Papa Morgan's face left Abby devastated. He was desperate for help but she couldn't do anything right now to save him.
"And now my people you finish the job like this.", said Richard.
He swung the knife through his neck and slit open his entire throat. Blood ran down his body as Papa Morgan fell off the balcony and in front of the rest of the guards.
Abby gasped and turned around trying so hard not to scream her heart out. Watching Papa Morgan die so brutally in front of her made her want to rip her heart out and pass away before she has to witness more of these treacheries. She covered her mouth with her hand and sobbed silently at the corner of the container. She didn't have the strength to see all of this, it was killing her from the inside. She thought of how Miss Ginny, Rob, Papa Morgan, and many more had died because of these humans. She didn't want to see more fairies die like this. This goal gave her some confidence. She tried to come up with a plan before more fairies had to die like this. Richard walked inside the building and the general said, "Get the rest of them out and get to work. ". The guards loaded their guns and moved towards the container. The containers were high enough to cover up the wall, she flew outside the base and leaned against the wall. She heard the fairies muffling as they tried to scream. Abby laid low for a while; she knew that there is nothing that she could do right now. Abby was waiting for the ideal moment to act. Abby flew towards the wall and peeked through the fence. She wanted to know in which building they were taking the rest of the fairies into. As she was all caught up spying, something grabbed her leg and pulled her down. Abby made a little noise but not loud enough to grab anyone's attention. The thing covered Abby's mouth with their hands. Abby fought back a little bit and stopped, "Grandpa? What.....What are you doing here?", she said.
"What do you think I am doing here, I am here to help all of you.", He replied.
"And what help do you think you and I are going to give?", asked Abby.
"I know that, that is why..... I brought back up.", said Grandpa as he pointed into the forest. Around 10 to 12 fairies walked out from the forest, all armed and well equipped. Abby was surprised, in a happy way. Her eyes and mouth were left open, she chuckled and said, "Awesome! But where were you guys?". Grandpa sat down and said,
"Papa Morgan had given us an assignment which we had to complete. These lads.", he grunted, got up, and joined the crew, "Are my fairies. They help me with tasks that Papa Morgan assigns me.
"Tasks?", questioned Abby. "Top secret missions. We have to carry out certain tasks.... um they are more like an experiment, finding new ways to prosper and discover new lands for fairies.". "That is why we were away, we survived the outbreak.", said one of the fairies in the crew.
"Let me introduce you to my crew.", said grandpa. He took Abbys' hand and got her up from the ground.
"This is David, Marvin, Smole, Bela, Mano, Daji, Helena, Buster, Mabi, and Robbin.", said Grandpa. The entire crew was locked and loaded with guns and grenades.
"We saw what Richard did to the town when we returned back from the hills.", said Mabi.
"We followed the tractors and it led us here.", said Bela.
"Soooooo.... you guys have a plan?", asked Abby.
Grandpa's crew was way younger than him, they seemed tough, smart, and confident. There was not even a single trace of fear on their faces.
David was a normal-looking fairy, he gave off a father vibe. He wore a simple blue shirt with brown skinny jeans. He had a double chin and a few scars were tracing from his forehead to his cheek. Smole was a little older in the group, she might be a little younger than grandpa but had more energy than Abby. She was dressed in a pink dress and skirt with pumps. Bela, Mano, Daji, and Helena were more modern and sophisticated. They may be in their late 20s and looked bomb. They wore formal black and white suits with high heels. Buster, Mabi, and Robbin were giving out high school teenager vibes. The newly high schoolers who were struggling to fit in so they formed their kind of little group to stay isolated from others.
Abby's favorite member of the group was Marvin. She saw a lot of Rob in Marvin. He was funny, he was calm, and chill. Abby felt Rob's presence in him.
The group moved away from the wall and into the forest to stay out of sight of the humans. They sat down in the middle of the forest and used a stick to draw a plan on the dry piece of land that didn't have any grass on it.
The fairies came up with a brilliant plan to free the rest of the fairies from the hands of their brutality. Abby's face lit up with hope to save her friends and family, the drumbeat of 'he is a pirate' began to play behind Abby's mind.
As I mentioned before, a few fairies are assigned different powers. They use these powers to execute secret missions and tasks. I didn't know that Grandpa was till a member of the council, I thought he had retired and has a small place outside the town where he raises chickens and cows.
The mysteries of grandpa began to unravel slowly.
"The day he left the house in a hurry, what was going on?", asked Abby. "I talked to Papa Morgan about another mission. That mission however was extremely dangerous, I didn't know if I could......come back. That is why I hugged you as tightly as possible so that if I didn't return one day, at least I would have hugged my granddaughter.", he replied.
The rest of the gang was making preparations for the escape. Grandpa was sitting down with Abby when she finally got a chance to talk to him.
"Why don't you and mom talk?", asked Abby. Grandpa took a deep breath and exhaled. He crossed his hands together and stretched out his legs.
"Your grandmother was very ill when I had to go to my next mission. She was on her death bed.... crying out my name day and night. But I couldn't be with her.", he replied with a disappointed look, "I couldn't make in time for the burial nor to see her face one last time. Your mom... she blames..... me... for her death. She sat beside her, hearing her all the time. She thought I might show up one day, but I didn't. I came home 2 years later.... I hated it as much as she did, but she didn't understand. At that point, not only did I lose my wife... I lost my daughter. Since then we have not..... we have not looked at each other the same way.", said grandpa. Tears flooded from Abby's eyes as she heard her grandpa's story. She wanted her mom and grandpa to be one again and stop with this fight.
"We are ready.", said David. Grandpa turned his head towards Abby and said, "Should we go now?". Abby smiled, wiped away her tears, and got up from the ground. Grandpa's crew had amazing powers. David, Marvin, and Mabi could disappear in thin air. In reality, they are present right in front of them but they become invisible to their eyes. Smole and Bela can fly in the rain. Helena and buster have the capabilities of freezing water into thick strong ice. On the other hand, Mano and Daji can shapeshift. They can shapeshift into animals, humans, birds, etc. You name it, they shapeshift into it. Grandpa also had the powers to disappear. Abby did not have any powers; she was standing there still listening to everyone explain their powers and how they are going to use them to get the fairies out of the base.
Grandpa had a big backpack with him, in that he had multiple sparkling balls that give you certain powers. Grandpa took out a few balls in front of her and asked her to choose her power.
"Me?", surprisingly asked Abby. "You want to survive out their kiddo, so you might as well take a ball.", replied grandpa. Abby took the freezing powers and popped the ball on her head. The ball was shining brighter than the sun and it felt like a weird watery balloon. The magic balls had a very gruesome texture to them. As soon as he popped the ball on her head, her entire body was covered with glitter. "Did something happen? I thought I was going to fly in the air and stuff like that.", asked Abby making a questionable face. Grandpa took out a water bottle from his backpack and gave it to Abby, "Try it.", he said. Abby grabbed the water bottle in her hand.
"Now.... focus your mind on controlling the water, freeze it.", said grandpa. Abby closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She cleared her mind and focused on the water inside the water bottle. A moment later she opened her eyes and said, "I think I did it?". She flipped the water bottle upside down and the water didn't pour out of the bottle. Abby's face lit up with happiness as she just used her first-ever superpower. Grandpa laughed and said, "The water bottle was empty Abby.". Abby stopped jumping and looked at grandpa in horror, "You always do this. Why do you have to embarrass me in front of everyone." said Abby. While Abby was occupied in screaming and shouting and grandpa, buster threw water on Abby. She brought her hands forward in defense the water wouldn't splash on her face. When she removed the hand from her face, she saw that the water had frozen up.
"Now you did it.", said Buster.
The crew now dispersed and started putting the plan into action. David, Marvin, and Mabi flew over the fence into the base. They disappeared just as they flew over the fence. All three of them went over the roofs to where the rifles were placed. Helena, Buster, and Robbin went around the wall. Mano and Daji disguised themselves as humans in a uniform. Their wings were gone, their nose had shrunk and their ears were small, they looked exactly like the army inside. Mano and Daji went through the door with the water tanks. Smole, Bela, grandpa, and Abby were the only ones left. Grandpa told Abby to go with Buster while grandpa carried on with Smole and Bela. Grandpa had an enormous backpack, all full of magic sparkling balls of the invisible powers. Abby asked him why he was holding so much of these, he smirked and said, "You will see.". He turned his back and flew around the building.
"We are here to deliver the water tanks.", said Mano.
"We don't want any tankers, the delivery had already been done.", said the guard at the door.
Mano panicked a little bit because she didn't know what to say after that. Daji kicked in and said, "The general wanted more water to clean up the mess of the fairies.". The guard gave them a suspicious look and asked the other guards to examine the trucks. The guard climbed on top of the truck and opened the handle, "All clear sir!", said the guard. They stepped away from the vehicles and allowed them inside the base. Mano and Daji were now inside. They were wearing digital cameras, everything the camera was seeing was being caught on Smole's laptop.
"Okay, I got the visual.", said Smole. Smole high-fived Bela and said, "We are in the system. Let's blow this UP!', said Smole in excitement. Bela nudged him and said, "If you don't lower your voice we will be blown up.".
As the trucks reached inside, Mano and Daji parked them on three sides of the base. They turned the tap on with full speed. The water came rushing through the pipes and into the base. The tanks held enough water to drown, 1/8 of the base, flooding enough to cover their feet up to their knees. Just as the water started leaking, Smole hacked into their security system and turned on the security alarm. The guards ran outside the building into the main ground where the water was piling up,
"What the hell?", said one of the guards. Smole used the security feeds to take control of their cameras. He located the buildings in which the fairies were kept hostage. Smole sent the building number and floor to Helena, buster, Robbin, and grandpa. Abby was going behind buster but returned to Smole and Bela.
David, Mabi, and, Marvin quietly slit open the guard's throats standing on top of the roof. They managed to stay out of trouble and remained unnoticed. Each one of them proceeded towards the riffles. The person looking at the camera noticed the guards falling from the roof. He couldn't see the fairies killing him because they were invisible.
"I think we might have a problem on the rooftop, can someone check it out for me. Over.", said the person over the radio.
David, Marvin, and Mabi let Helena, buster, and Robbin into the base. As the water level reached halfway up their knees, they froze up the water to form a thick ice burg.
"What is going on!?", screamed the guards stuck, struggling to free themselves from the heavyweight of the ice. David, Marvin, and Helena showered riffles at the guards like rain. The guards were caught in surprise, they couldn't see who was shooting the riffles. The shouting and screaming became intense, the humans were falling on the ground one by one.
"I am out of emo!", shouted Marvin. Sounds of guns clicking and the bullets firing, terrified the fairies locked in the container. Marvin accidentally broke his cover and became visible to the humans. He was searching for more bullets not realizing that he was not invisible. One of the guards that barged on top of the rooftop saw Marvin. He was on his knees, going through the container full of bullets when the guard shot him in his heart.
"MARVIN!", Mabi screamed as she flew towards him in distress. Now, two of the riffles were inactive. The guards stuck in ice began to carelessly fire bullets into the air.
"MARVIN, Marvin!", said Mabi as she dodged and stopped the bullets using her magic. The bullets increased in number. Mabi was more focused on Marvin and forgot that the humans were openly shooting in the sky.
One of the bullets hit Mabi and she fell to the ground on top of the humans. They grabbed her and shot her in the head.
David was now the only one left with the riffles. He knew that he was outnumbered by the humans, so he left the rifle and took cover. The plan was to distract the humans long enough to create a wide window for grandpa, Mano, and Daji to enter the building and free the fairies trapped inside. They made their way towards the bottom of the building. The hallway leading towards the cell was long, narrow hallways with white lights shining above them. There was a staircase at the end of the hallway that rolled into the basements. The basement was an endless, high-ceilinged, large room, with cells built on each side. There were thousands of cells in the basement. The cells were constructed parallel to each other and on top of each other. There was enough room to fit the entire fairyland into them. The crew quietly approached the cells and saw the fairies locked up in the jail cells.
All of a sudden, Grandpa heard the sounds of metal clinging in a distance.
"What is going on?", said grandpa over the radio to Smole. Smole panicked as he began to type harder on his laptop.
"Umm, guys.... You have to get out of there like right now.", said Smole.
"Why what happened?", asked Daji.
"THE SECURITY ALARM TRIGGERED THE DEFENCE SYSTEM AND NOW THE ENTIRE FACILITY IS GOING UNDER LOCKDOWN! IF YOU DONT GET OUT NOW, ALL OF YOU WILL BE STUCK FOR GOD KNOWS HOW LONG!", screamed Smole.
"But we can't leave them here to die.", said Mano.
"We are their only hope, if we die, the fairies will never be free again. We need to get out and look for another plan.
LET'S GO!", said Daji.
Grandpa was still trying to figure out what should be done. He stood there still, "We have to go right now!", said Daji to grandpa.
"I have these balls, if I could manage to give the fairies inside the power to be invisible, they might have a chance to survive all of this.", said Grandpa.
"We do not have time, please!..... let's go.", said Mano.
They grabbed Grandpa's hand and tried to fly out of the base.
The base was even more dangerous now. The general called for backup and all the guards were now on high alert and in position.
"I want the entrance and the exits all locked up. Don't let the breachers get out of their alive.", said the general.
"What happened.", asked Richard.
"There has been a security breach by a few fairies.", replied the general.
"Do you want me to take a look at the situation.", asked Richard.
'No need. My men have sustained the problem and have the situation under control.".
Multiple units were being dispatched to hunt down grandpa's entire crew. The crew didn't know that they had lost Marvin and Mabi. The sad news was about to break as the rest of the crew gathered in one place.
Back where the fairies were captured, grandpa, Mano, and Bela were still onsite trying to convince grandpa to leave. Grandpa was not ready to give up on her daughter and the rest of the fairies. He wanted to pop the balls on their head so at least they could have another chance. He freed himself from Mano and Daji and ran towards the cell where the fairies were captured. Mano and Daji ran after him. The three of them encountered humans on their way to the cell. The security had doubled and the weapons had been loaded. Mano and Daji were still disguised as humans and grandpa used his powers to disappear.
"Did you see anything unusual?', said one of the guards.
"No, we are looking for them in this section. You guys go and we will search this area.", said Mano.
"Copy that.", said the other guard. The guard took his team to the other section. Grandpa was standing right in the middle of the guards and Mano, holding back his breath so they wouldn't notice.
"That was close.", said grandpa.
"You are going to have us killed.", said Daji.
"I am going to stay invisible while you two pretend to be one of them, okay?", said grandpa.
"Guys you have to come out! Please, someone reply, Marvin? David? Mano? Anyone?", said Smole over the radio. Abby was frightened because she thought she might have lost her grandfather.
"Are they okay?", asked Abby anxiously.
Smole gave an agitated look and said, "We can only pray right now.".
"But can't you access the security system again and undo the shutters and stuff?", exclaimed Abby.
Smole got up from the ground, looked at Abby, and said, "They locked me out of the system. It wouldn't be long now before they come after us. They tracked down my device, they know where we are. We have to leave before they kill us all.". There was nothing but a shattered hope in the hearts of Smole and Bela.
