Two days had passed since I was within my spatial domain, the concept of time being lost within it meant I didn't even realize how it flowed right by. So aid missed the event orchestrated by Aegefon and as such was in a dilemma of who to choose.
It was all getting annoying, I could feel myself mentally itching to just leave Fiarin and never return. Why was getting divinity so stressful?
It made me think and dread how I was gonna get my world's inhabitants to revere me. Thinking of it I sighed yet again in obvious stress.
Standing atop the rooftop of Aegefon's house fist tightened as I vented there was nothing else I realized keeping me here.
But I knew I needed to set a steady foundation for these humans just in awe trouble came knocking. With Moira and Carla as well as Aegefon it would take a demigod level being and higher to disturb them.
Still, it wouldn't be unsafe to not add to the ranks a bit. An offensive, support, a healer, and a tank. With Offensive and healer took what was needed was a tank and support.
Sighing at the work still to be done he softly leaped off the roof into the sky. Halfway the golden wings burst out his back and flapped powerfully sending a gust of wind that shook the town inhabitants below while he shot off into the sky like an arrow.
Below some people stared up apprehensive at the sight of a winged man entering the skies. Most pointed while some just stared shocked or frozen while few stood off the ground looking around in confusion.
Aegefon rushed out of the house on the ground floor and looked up into the already vacant sky once he saw everyone doing the same. After looking around and hearing the details of a flying man he could only grumble.
"He's showing himself. Seems like he's going to choose soon". He surmised. After a minute of pondering he sighed and then turned to a guard by his right.
Calling him a guard was a stretch, the man looked more roguish than thieves. With his patchy black beard and the nomadic helm held firm to his head via straps locked beneath his jaw the man was a sight.
" Finn. Ring the bell, gather the people. " he turned heading in before halting and looking back.
"Ring it five times in succession"
Finn froze on hearing that. The bell was the most important tool in the town. Simply because it held.the people's lives. Failure to ring the bell would spell doom in the case of a very urgent matter.
Each toll meant a different urgency. While one was slight. , two was fast shutting. Three were beast attacks or bandits attacks. Four and five had never been used as no army had ever bothered coming to their little town of Ranak.
Plus there was no such disaster to need the five tolls of the bell. So telling him to get the bell rung five times Finn couldn't help but go into full defensive mode.
By the time Aegefon realized it, the bell had tolled five times in succession, five in a row, and the gate was shot while the armed guards as scattered and untrained as they were manned the walls housetops and streets corners while few surrounded the square and chief's house.
It was a mess that had Aegefon scratching his bald skull while muttering profanities under his breath as he cursed at a certain god.

In the distance, Erizos felt a slight distaste and annoyance well up in him making him squint and look back.
"Did someone insult me or something?" he asked peeved at the feeling.
[Godly ego check ]
Ignoring the annoying voice in his head he flew ahead. To the east of the Desolation of Anges. From the bird's eye view, he could see the cut-off from the other areas. Far to the east was the sight of the beginnings of a huge desert.
To the west, he knew was the last village he had avoided close to the sea which curled all the way blocking off even the north.
The only way in and out was via sea, desert, and the western village. Which left the south. Looking in that direction he raised his eyebrows.
"Of course. The other races weren't joking about the confinement" he muttered as he started at the range of mountains that littered the distance.
"If I wasn't so eager to leave this world it would be a perfect adventure for me". Turning he looked down noting how far he had gone from the town. The town wasn't far below him was the forest that joined Gerasmine's village. Wings folding he dropped into a dive.

Green grass shredded apart as a snout belonging to a white hopper chewed away at the leaves. Its mouth moved in sync as it chewed calmly and unhurried.
In the thickets two groups of hunters hid and watched one salivating while the other brimming with eagerness, eyes locked on the whitehoppers horns he could already see the new spearhead to be formed from it.
The Bontruks were cut off from all sorts of arms and having abilities and skills taken from them too they could barely manage and survive. Leaving them with no choice but to craft weapons using their environment.
They had been thrown back to the stone age and only a few successful smuggle attempts gave them a few swords to arm their town guards.
Kendor was certain that his town had it better than other villages or towns in the Desolation of Anges, all due to his grandfather. Still, while he respected the old man he felt the years had not been kind to him at all.
But, things while getting worse and worse on a daily had suddenly felt lighter. If he had known it had to do with a certain curse getting ripped out of his line he would have been shocked. With the newfound inner strength and spirit, he found his hits over the past two days increasingly successful.
A miracle, yes a miracle cause it was something new to him that had occurred. With action in his home, he had done sometime unheard of within the Desolation of Anges and his town to be particular.
He had developed a skill. So caught up. in he has stayed in the forest learning more and more about his skills while simultaneously discovering a few more.
Today he had decided with all his skills to face off against the Direwolf of the Desolate forest. Yes while he intended on getting the forms of the white hopper his actual target was the second hunter group.
Dire wolves. Huge five feet wolves that could tear a man apart in seconds if foolish. They were the bane of the village and had killed more guards than anything Kendor had seen. One of whom had been his father.
So while he was interested in testing out his newfound skills against a stronger prey, his underlying cause was vengeance.
His eyes left the whitehoppers horns and focused on the thickets on the other side where he knew the wolves were. He had tracked them along while they came here and joined them in hunkering down.
Behind him and to his side lay two figures a girl and a boy. His black buzz-cut hair hung just below his ears stiff and barely moving. Black eyes that locked on the thicket. The two to his sides shared a similar feature their brunette and hazel eyes.
Humda and Sanda remained as still as rocks while waiting for their leader's call. The long wooden pike with several chips on it lay tightly held in Sanda's grasp. To her right lay Humda his hands over his head as he muttered how bad an idea it was while his sword lay in front of him.
