Chapter 20 - Curb Stompin’

Caitlyn's eyes glistened and overflowed with emotion at Leon's protective attitude and the assertion she was his woman.

"Hah! Hahaha! Finally!" Mazon laughed, "A normal response from you!"

The redhead doubled over in laughter.

"Yes! Yes! I did! I'm glad it finally sunk in that you're going to die, and I'll be spending all night fucking—"

Booooooom!

Before Lindy or Sarah saw what happened, Leon flew fifty feet across the parking lot and decked Mazon in the face, sending him flying into the wall.

"Guuuuhhh. What in the fuck was that!?" Mazon groaned.

He looked up and saw Leon rushing at him again with insane speed.

"Fuck me!" He cried.

Mazon jumped out of the way just in time to avoid the strike.

Beyond expectation, Leon didn't hit the wall. He anticipated the move, pulled back, and sent a kick into the redhead's side in a split second.

Boooom!

Mazon crashed into a car in the parking lot.

"W-What the fuck are you!?" The man cried, "Did you ask for super strength or something!?"

BOOM!

He jumped off the car just in time to avoid another punch. His stats were far superior, so it wasn't equal footing.

"I'm level forty! I've killed countless monsters and humans by controlling the beasts!" Mazon cried. "How the fuck can you hurt me with a weak skill like superstrength no—GUH!"

Leon sent a kick into the man's lower abdomen, taking his breath away.

"Yeah… seriously. What is going on?" Lindy asked in amazement, "I haven't seen him use power, so how is this happening?"

"This isn't a power. Caitlyn giggled with a beaming expression, "This is just Leon being Leon. The real him."

Lindy and Sarah turned back to the scene playing out with wide eyes.

Leon didn't have the strength to cripple or kill someone at level forty. However, he was treating the man like a village's only football. It was so one-sided it was almost depressing.

He was curb stomping the man. Literally.

Rather, he was trying to. Every time he pried the man's jaws open to bite down on something, Mazon got away. Leon was going ballistic.

"T-This… This is Leon!?" Lindy cried.

"Well, no. This is a new and exciting side of Leon I've never seen," Caitlyn squealed in delight, "But the fighting, yes. He was training black ops members in hand-to-hand combat at fifteen."

Lindy and Sarah cranked their necks to Caitlyn with the fluidity of rusty cogs.

"What!?" Lindy cried.

"Yep~ I was originally sent in to assassinate him at that time, but his defenses were far too great," Caitlyn replied with sparkling eyes, "Then, after monitoring him for a year, I became obsessed with how interesting he was."

"GAHHHHHH! Just kill me!" Mazon pleaded.

"Things… make a lot more sense now…." Lindy whispered in disbelief.

There was yet another interesting thing for her to think about.

Boooom!

"Or at least say something! Anything! Jesus fucking Christ!" Mazon pleaded.

Leon said nothing as he pummeled the shit out of Mazon at blind speeds.

"Please! Final request! I don't want to die in such a cold, uncool way!" Mazon yelled.

"I agree. So let me pry open your jaw, put it on that curb, and demonstrate what classification of physical assault can earn life without parole." Leon suggested.

"Okay, okay! I'll bite the curb!" Mazon screamed while turning around and literally crawling to the curb.

It was a rouse, and Leon knew that. However, he wanted this man to understand real fear before he died. So he let him be.

Mazon chuckled with an evil smile.

"Wheeeeeeeeewhiiiiiiii!"

"MAH ZATATATA!"

"SsiSssssss SsiSssssss"

Mazon turned around with a shit-eating grin as monsters entered the area.

"Now what, pretty boy?" He asked with a smug expression, "Are you going to kill me? Or save your precious—GUHHHHHH!"

BOOOOOM!

Mazon flew into the wall behind the curb.

"W-Wait! Aren't you even—" He tried stuttering when he opened his eyes.

Boooom!

"Wait—"

Boooom!

"MAH ZATATATA! MAH!"

Mazon saw a raptor-type creature enter the area, and hope welled in his eyes.

Seeing that, Leon grabbed Mazon by the collar so he could get a better look at his prized pet.

He didn't flinch or check the surroundings as the raptor approached.

"MAH ZATATATA! MAAAAH?"

Boom!

"What just—"

BOOOOOM!

Before his eyes, Mazon watched his second favorite pet's head explode ten feet away from Leon's back.

Then he watched a car flip ten times when its body crashed into it.

It was a surreal sight.

"M-Miko…." Mazon whimpered with teary eyes, "Where's Mr. S?"

Leon grabbed Mazon by the hair and forced his neck back so he could look up.

"SSiSSSSSSS!"

"Mr. S!" Mazon cried.

Mr. S, an armored boa constrictor-type snake, was currently sixty-feet in the air, being hugged by an angelic blonde flapping her angel wings.

"Okay, please watch closely." Leon requested, "Something you love is currently getting threatened. Log that feeling to the back of your mind."

"W-Wait. What—"

BOOOOOOOOOM!

A huge wave of dust shot into his bloodshot eyes.

"Now, observe. My woman threatened something you loved and then let you watch it suffer and die while you were injured and helpless." Leon explained.

Mazon's eyes filled with dread and horror as Leon played back his words to him.

"We also didn't care about your massacre; we just wanted some discount food." Leon continued.

The redhead's fear was far beyond his confusion, so his brain balanced at [fuck!?].

"I guess I'm trying to say that we're not that different, Mazon." Leon said with steely eyes. "There's only one glaring difference."

"W-What's that!?" Mazon stuttered.

"You threatened [my] woman." Leon growled.

Ding! ...

"That's… fucking hot." Lindy muttered aloud.

Usually, Caitlyn would bare her fangs, but she was too emotional to notice.

Both of their bodies physically reacted to the scenes. As always, no one noticed the same experience occurring with Sarah.

She was like a ghost. A horny ghost.

Lindy glanced at Caitlyn out of the corner of her eye.

"Now I can see why Leon would be into that type of thing." She muttered breathlessly, "I wonder if he'd act the same way if I followed suit."

A psychopath's affection was far wilder than anything a normal person could produce.

Lindy was willing to join Leon's harem for only a moment to keep that feeling alive.

"I was wrong! I didn't know w-we were alike!" Mazon cried, "We can work—"

Boom! … Boom! … Boom! … Boom!

Leon, Caitlyn, Lindy, and Sarah simultaneously looked toward the sky to the north of them.

"Tch. Real trouble showed up." Leon scoffed.

"Love!" Caitlyn cried.

"Yeah, I know. Give me a second." Leon replied while picking Mason up and whirling his body around.

Booooom!

Leon threw Mazon's head through a car's windshield.

Contrary to what one might expect, windshields don't break. They have special glass that prevents normal shattering, so what normally happens is—

"GAHHHHHHHH!"

"I wouldn't move if I were you." Leon suggested without looking at the man. "There's a certain serial killer that likes playing games with people in your type of situation."

Mazon's head was stuck through the window, and the glass form fit to his neck.

"I'm confident I beat 90% of your health and most of your endurance stat down." Leon continued, "So the glass around your neck will peel your face off if you pull back too hard."

The man's eyes trembled when he understood his situation.

"Now I have to play with the grown-ups," Leon announced mockingly, "but I assure you if you try to whistle, I'll grab you by the shoulders and saw your head off in a gyrating motion."

Mazon struggled in a panic, but the glass cut into his neck.

"It's not my style, but we can't waste mana at the moment. Unlike you, my party knows real power when they see it." He added.

Leon looked up with a razor-sharp gaze.

"Well hello, Leon Traxler," A voice called out from the sky, "and you… must be Caitlyn Mira, yes?"
