Inside of the prison, Sho and Gideon pressed through the hallways, destroying the monsters wearing the orange jumpsuits.
Bebop was watching Sho and Gideon fight, watching dead monster prisoner bodies flop in front of her.
Gideon ran left to right through the hallways, using his dragon arm to punch two prisoner monsters at once, making them smash into a wall.
Sho had three monster prisoners on top of him, chomping at his body. Sho was already bleeding all over the place, bruised up.
"Get..the fuck..off me!"
Sho spun on the floor with his legs extended out, and it made all the monster prisoners trip, and before they could fall on the floor, Sho stood up, saying, "Extend: 11 feet!"
His knife stretched 11 feet long, and Sho jumped and performed one quick spin with it, slicing all the monster prisoners in half.
Gideon was punching a monster prisoner's head into the floor, laughing at the same time.
Gideon then said to Sho, "Good job, Sho!"
Sho spit blood to the side, replying, "Worry about yourself."
"Yes sir!"
Bebop stood to the side, thinking, 'I was only able to bring out Dero because I felt like it was needed to protect big brother and Gideon. But now..it really seems like they can handle it. Big bro and Gideon are good in this raid.'
Two monster prisoners tackled Sho, and the three of them pierced through a wall. They started yanking Sho with their large monstrous mouths, they jumped into the air, twisted multiple times, and piledrived Sho into the floor.
The monsters snarled enormously, but Sho stabbed his knife into the floor under him, and said, "Extend: 16 feet.."
The knife shot Sho and the two monster prisoners in the air, and Sho grabbed the monsters by the face, and crushed their heads into the ceiling.
"Fuck you!" Sho yelled as he and the two monster prisoners started to fall.
On the way down, Sho reached forward, grabbed the handle of his 16 foot knife, and spun around to the two monster prisoners that were falling towards him, Sho twisted three times, slicing the monster prisoners in half.
Sho landed feet first on the floor, with monster bodies dropping beside him, and blood pouring down like rain.
Sho looked down the hallway, and he saw 20 foot tall monster prisoners with four snake heads and buff human bodies.
Sho said, "Well what the hell are you bastards waiting for? Attack me!"
The snakehead prisoners started to gather up in a line beside each other, and they started to stomp their feet over and over, making the floor rumble.
Sho thought, 'What the hell are they doing? I don't trust it. And I'm trying to decide whether or not I want to press forward, or not risk it at all. But I don't want to make the mistake of standing still and getting wrecked. Should I retreat? No, where would I go? I'll take them head on.'
The snake-headed monster prisoners stretched their arms, stomped their feet, put both hands on the floor, and opened their mouths super wide, and an orange and brown spinning orb started to form in front of the mouths, with orange and brown butterflies flying around it.
Sho said, "Not good."
The orbs were shot out, and they grew as they pressed forward.
Sho dashed forward, thinking, 'Since I've dealt with that annoying Donghu bastard, I've been able to perceive certain amounts of speed..I think.'
Sho dodged the orbs, allowing them to blow up behind him. Sho was sliding under them, jumping over them, and jumping on and off the wall.
'I've completed a raid by myself. I can complete this shit too.'
Sho slid on the floor, dragged his knife on the floor, saying, "Extend: 21 feet.."
Sho shot upwards into the air, dodging more orbs while going upwards.
Sho was landing on the snake-headed monster prisoners, and he lifted his 21 foot knife up, saying, "Crash: 400,000 pounds!"
Sho slammed the heavy knife on the line of monster prisoners, squashing them.
Sho looked to the left down the hallway, seeing more monster prisoners head towards him, with an orange aura around the outline of their bodies.
Sho smirked, "Hoh? You wanna end up like these assholes? Come get it. Not in a weird way."
Sweat mixed in with blood dripped from Sho's head, and he dashed forward with his knife.
'Five monster prisoners in front of me..five of them to kill..five more reasons to level up..'
Sho jumped, and he spun his knife behind his back and below his feet, shredding three monster prisoners, then, Sho slashed past the last three monster prisoners, waving his knife once, slicing the monsters to pieces.
At that moment, Sho got a notification from his watch, showing up as a blue holographic screen in front of him.
Saying:
*You have unlocked Energy (Stamina), and will be added to your attributes.*
Sho's stats:
Strength - 80/300
Speed - 77/300
Agility - 100/300
Toughness - 180/300
Energy - 100/300
Sho said, "Huh? Now? Energy? That's like, something involved with stamina. Does it work with my weapon abilities as well? Why did I get this now instead of in the beginning? Something else I'm gonna bug that psycho Gideon about. He better give me an answer later too."
Sho walked forward, continuing down the prison hallway.
There were prison cells in the walls, all wide open.
Sho thought, 'This definitely resembles a worldly prison. Though I've never served an actual sentence, my mother always sent me to get escorted through the prison facilities to try and drive some sense into my head. Never worked though, shit just pissed me off even more.'
In the other hallway, Gideon was making magma balls blast out of his dragon arm, making them collide with the monster prisoners, splashing them against the wall.
Then some monster prisoners leaped from underground, but Gideon in the legs, and started running around the hallway, smashing him all over the walls, and they tried to rip him apart, tugging on him.
Gideon looked at Bebop, smiling with a thumbs up, "I'm doing good! I'm oooookay!"
Bebop responded, "But..you're about to be monster food.."
"It's okay, stay with meeee! I'm strong! I'm almost class C!"
There were some monster prisons climbing all over the walls, heading to Gideon and Bebop.
Gideon laughed, "Haaaaaahaaaa! Come at me!!!"
Gideon raised his fist, with a dark orange aura around it, and he punched the ground, and the floors and the walls started to explode, knocking the monster prisoners around the area.
Gideon smirked, "Booooo ya!"
He zipped forward fast, breaking free of the monster's grasp, punching a hole through the chest of a monster prisoner. Gideon kept his fist straight through him.
The other monsters were coming, and some were trying to get Bebop.
Gideon jumped backwards, picked up Bebop, and turned around while jumping, and when he did, there were a dozen monsters leaping right in front of them.
Gideon stuck his dragon hand out, and created a really large magma ball, smiling.
Sho was in the main pods of the prison, a large area with lunch tables around, and a set of metal stairs and cells in the walls.
Sho was sitting inside of a square cage, bleeding from his mouth, struggling to get up.
Sho said, "Cheap ass tricks. You're nothing.."
Sho stood up, and standing in front of him, was Tether. And sitting on top of the cage was Vetto.
Vetto had glowing chains coming out of his body, and everytime Sho would blink, Vetto would change positions around the cage, shooting his chains at Sho to try and bind him. And his chains had spikes on them as well, emitting a red smoky aura.
Tether had the power to shoot white glowing bloody spikes out of his body, and if those spikes stick inside of one's body part, it'll shut that body part down, making it go numb, and immovable.
Sho thought, 'Both of these assholes are annoying. I've gotten a grasp of their powers, if I blink, it's almost fatal because I know he'll attack from a random spot around the cage. I've been avoiding this bloody guy's spikes, I don't know what it does specifically, but I don't wanna find out. This is a class C raid, I know it's not just simple spikes. At this point, I hope Bebop and Gideon don't come just yet. I don't want them saving me again. That's annoying as hell too.'
Tether said, "Hm..?"
Sho tilted his head, "You talk?"
"Familiar..blood…"
"Did the Tower of Valhalla create you? Are you a stalker?! How do you know shit?"
"We are not involved…with the Tower.."
"Seriously?"
"Familiar scent....."
"…"
Sho blinked on accident, but as soon as he did, he jumped into the air, and clung onto the top of the cage, and a line of chains shot under him, going through the cage.
Tether dashed under Sho, and made large white spikes shoot from his chest, spiraling towards Sho.
Sho pointed his knife at Tether, "Extend: 10 feet."
The knife blasted forward, shattering the spikes coming towards him, and they targeted Tether.
Tether jumped out of the way, and Sho's knife pierced the floor under him.
Tether said, "Rahhh..rah..."
Tether made a large glowing spike form in his hands, zapping over to Sho, swinging the spike at him.
Sho kept leaning left and right, then backwards and frontwards.
Tether aimed for Sho's head, swinging really fast.
Sho did a split, getting down low, spinning around and kicking Tether in the chest, making him bash against the cage.
Sho jumped up and blinked at the same time, but he leaned back, and Vetto's chains rushed over his body.
Sho thought, 'Countered it again, if I can keep this up, I can win.'
Vetto's chain that was shot out bounced off one of the chain bars, and swished towards Sho's leg, piercing through it all the way, and then it bounced off another bar, and went through Sho's arm, weakening him.
Sho gritted his teeth, "Dammit!"
Tether rushed left to right to get to Sho, and he started to slash Sho over and over in the face and chest with his giant spike weapon.
Blood splattered everywhere, and Sho took her pain, grinning in the process.
Sho smirked, "Is that all you got? Bitch?"
Tether growled, "Annoying..human.."
Tether spun his spiked weapon around, and jammed it in Sho's chest. The spike barely went through, because Sho had his hands on the side of the spiked weapon, his hands bleeding tremendously.
Tether still had the spike stuck in Sho's chest, and he started to slam Sho against the bars, over and over, in different locations, trying to drive the spike all the way through.
Sho said, "I've definitely gotten stronger.."
Tether slammed Sho against the cage again, trying to drive the glowing white spike further into Sho. Sho coughed up blood, saying, "Fuck..you..again. Crash: 30,000 pounds."
Tether gasped, and Sho dropped his 30,000 pound knife on Tether's feet, crushing his feet.
Tether exclaimed in pain, and Sho leaned forward to make another move, but Tether made glowing white spikes shoot from his body, and they pierced Sho in the chest and stomach.
Sho couldn't ignore the pain, but his toughness came into the play. It didn't hurt super bad, but it was still painful.
Sho jumped over Tether, and put him in a chokehold, and faced Vetto, who was standing outside of the cage, not doing anything.
Sho said with blood in his mouth, "You're next. Let's go!"
Sho's knife flashed up to Sho's hand, and Sho grabbed it, put the blade on Tethers back as Tether squirmed all over the place, and said, "Extend: 30 feet!"
The blade expanded 30 feet, and the knife barely went in Tether's back, but it pushed Tether forward, and the blade pierced straight through Tether's back, killing him. And the expanding knife made Sho bash against the bars behind him, sliding down to the floor.
Sho said, "Haha..I won.."
The entire cage fell apart.
'If anyone saw me struggle in a class C raid, they'd laugh at me. I don't care to be honest, but I know I'm getting stronger.'
Sho began to fall, but Gideon slid in and caught Sho, holding a herbal pill, ready to give it to Sho.
Gideon said, "I got you! Is this gonna be a normal routineeee? This is twice todayyyyy!"
Vetto growled, and multiple chains were coming from his back, hands, and mouth. He was about to attack, but Bebop and her family Dero arrived.
Dero was punching Vetto in the face and chest, with rays and beams of light blasting all over the place. Vetto's body shook fast as he was getting pummeled, and Bebop said, "You almost killed big brother..die."
Dero landed a final punch on Vetto's face, and light blasted out, knocking Vetto's head off, killing him.
Bebop made Dero go away, and she shivered, then ran to Sho, "Big brother!"
Gideon said, "He's gonna be alrighttt! I gave him my last herbal pill!"
At the at moment, they all got a notification, saying:
*The raid targets have been slain.*
Sho earned 4,000 points, and so did everyone else.
Sho's wounds were healing, but it wasn't 100 percent. Only 75% percent of his body was healed, but the herbal pill targeted the serious injuries first.
Sho figured that was okay, so he stood up, saying, "We're outta here."
Bebop held Sho's hand, asking, "Are you okay, big brother?"
Sho responded, "What kind of question is that? I never am…"
"Aww..want me to make funny faces for you?"
"Suit yourself."
Bebop started to climb on top of Sho, and climbed on his back, making funny and goofy faces, saying, "Rawwrrr, rawrrr, monster! Monster!"
Sho thought, 'I didn't want them beating that tattoo humanoid. I hate being saved all the time. I have indeed gotten stronger, I see the progress, but it'll destroy my pride being saved all the time. Yeah, I did almost faint again, I was at my limit, and my wounds were serious. Good thing the Fighter event is in two hours from now, I can rest. I figured out resting can help with wounds and refill your energy. Like it did on earth. And that humanoid talked earlier…will I see more like him?'
(Two and a half hours later)
[An island]
[Fighter event]
A large body of water surrounded the super green island, and there were a little over 200 armored Fighters standing in front of a super large plus long ancient temple.
Kell and May were standing off to the side, with other Fighters trying to talk to them.
Kell said to them with a smile, "I'm gonna ruin all of you. If you get in my way, I'll slit your faces. You guys are scum, terrible Fighters. Bet you're all low class Fighters. Imagine. Couldn't be me."
May didn't say anything, she was just on her phone.
There were reporters out there with news crews, reporting the start of the Fighter event. These reporters were Passive Fighters.
The reporter woman said, "And here we are, awaiting for the start of the Fighter event, the obstacle course! There are a little bit over 200 Fighters here, all of them ready to win this temple obstacle course! The event will be deadly and dangerous, where Fighters will supervise at all costs to get to the end of the maze-like obstacle course. Fighters are allowed to attack each other, but it's not recommended since they will be having to worry about other dangerous things that lurk within the obstacle course shadows! Also, the one who reaches the end first, will gain a legendary ability that is not weapon related, but natural!"
Other Fighters said to each other:
"I'm class A! I'm winning this shit!"
"Nahh, I am!"
"I've been training for a whole day! This event was made specifically for me!"
"Look, Kaiju is here!"
"I hate that guy."
"Kaiju is gonna be the one try-Harding everything."
Kaiju was there, hanging upside down on a nearby palm tree, thinking, 'My ears are burning due to the constant talk about me. But, I do not see Sho Takahashi in sight. Hmph. My potential rival will arrive soon enough, he's no chicken I assume.'
Stacen and Raiden were there also, and they were arm wrestling on a rock.
Raiden said, "I'm gonna win this time, I shall win."
Stacen answered, "Determined pup. I commend you. Now, win."
"And win I shall do."
Sho, Bebop, and Gideon were approaching.
Sho was thinking, 'Mother…my body is sore, but it's enough to last through this event. The reward for winning this event will result in getting a new power non-weapon related. I'm taking whatever I can get to level up. It's a lot of people here, and many eyes on us. A temple..? Guess the event is gonna happen there. All different types of class Fighters here, it's diverse. Me ranking up to class C was shown on the feed earlier, and so everyone should be staring at me in 3…2…1.'
Eyes started to turn to Sho, and the talking about him began. Kell and May looked at Sho, and May's heart pounded loudly, and she said, "Sho…."
Kell added, "Him.."
Kaiju looked over and saw Sho, grinning.
Then Stacen and Raiden looked over at Sho.
