Inspecting the blade in his hand Toki found it to be very peculiar, as unlike the knives and blades found in his tribe it was not made of either rock or bone but another peculiar material. Toki found It beautiful with its smooth sides, a sharp and long curved edge that was of beautiful silver like the moon's light. But more importantly its unknown origin tickled Toki's curiosity more than anything he had ever seen. It was made of unknown material with unknown crafting methods none which were found in the tribe, making him wonder truly where it came from. Snapping out of his thoughts he first had to think of where to hide the beautiful blade because if any of the hunters saw it they would surely take it away from him. And as he was looking he found just the right spot. In one specific part of the riverside there was a small hut where they used to temporarily keep the fish, but as it was currently abandoned it was the perfect place to hide it. Going into the abandoned shed he removed some of the rooting planks of the floor to hide the blade under it before carefully putting back the floor planks so that nothing seems different.
The next six days went by in a blur for Toki, as he was becoming very obsessed with the blade to the point that he wouldn't walk in the village anymore. He spent barely any time looking at the river as the unknown blade became his new fascination. Most of his time during these days was observing the blade and pondering its origin. First, according to what he knew none of the weapon workers had a technique to produce this weapon as both its material and weapon type was something he had never seen before. The single edged blade was long and on the heavier side making it really weird as a weapon. Usually the blades made in their tribe were shorter and lighter so that they could fast and effectively finish off prey from both long range and close distance before the prey ran off. This made Toki almost certain that the blade wasn't made in his tribe. The material was also weird, as it couldn't possibly be made from any type of animal or plant due to its hardness. But it also was weird for a rock as it seemed to be different from any type of stone he had seen. meaning out there were other tribes living completely different lives from their own, with unknown knowledge he couldn't help to try and uncover.
Dean POV:
It happened again. Toki may not realize it himself, but whenever he finds something new and interesting he will essentially abandon everything to pursue it. The last time his curiosity was this bad was when he found the unknown ceremonial tool. At that time he would spend every day looking at it trying to figure out what it was. In the end though it took him about a month before finally figuring out that it was a broken piece of ceremonial tool. I have to admit that Toki has a certain knack for finding out weird things, as I don't think I could have ever guessed that it was part of a ceremonial tool that our tribe had stopped using generations ago. Still i hope he is not so occupied with his new interest that he has forgotten the awakening ceremony tomorrow.

As the sun rose on this specific day, toki rose early so that he could go find the blade. But before he could leave through the door he was stopped. Dean: -don't tell me you really forgot what day it is today, Toki? Toki looked confused for a moment before it dawned on him. Oh god! Today was the awakening ceremony. It seemed that Dean also noticed his reminder worked and thus they both went to the dining hall. Today they got some extra meat in their meal to probably help them last through the day. The awakening ceremony could take a while and it would be bad to get hungry in the middle of it. And so with a bigger than usual meal in their stomach Toki along with dean headed over to the awakening grounds.
