"Stop right there!!" Yelled a Guard. The man was at least 6 foot 9, covered with black and red amour. He had blood-red hair that matches his eyes, as his eye's landed on Megallan's car his aura washed over Luther. His aura was like a knife rubbing on your skin. It was cold and dense, almost like taking a bath in ice water. Megallan slowly began to move the car close to the gate, the guard jump from the gate and disappeared. A flash of light appeared in front of the car and then dissipated.
"I told you to stop!" Said the guard as he slammed a giant sword on top of the car. Without missing a beat Megallan pull out a badge from his left pocket. As the guard's eyes land on the badge his aura completely disappeared, he was now uncontrollably shaking. Luther's Curiosity was peak, what type of badge can make this make stand there in fear? "I'm sorry sir!" Yelled the guard as he took the giant to the side. As the sword fell to the ground, the dirt began to crack and split apart.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Said the guard. This beast of a man was now on his knees and began Megallan for forgiveness.
"It's okay just don't do that again." Said Megallan as he pick the badge back up. The guard's eyes lighten up and hope quickly washed over his face.
"Thank you! Thank you!" Said the guard as he shakes Megallan hands like a madman.
"Okay lets us in." Said Megallan.
"Yes sir." The guard said as his body dissolved. His body reappears about the gate and with a single wave of the hand the gate up open. As the gate is full the small city lights shine bright. Old, young, and female warriors roam the city carrying dead beast bodies. There were many signs on the left and right side of the road saying that they wearing giving away rare beast hides.
"What was that badge you showed the guard?" Luther asked Megallan.
Megallan face brighten up with a smile, "that was nothing, just my family crest."
"Family crest? Does your family own this place?" Asked Luther.
"No, but they're super famous in the human capital." Said Megallan as he wave his hands. Two small bags appeared out of nowhere, " Here you two catch!" Yelled Megallan as he told the two bags to Luther and Luna. "I don't want y'all to get into any trouble, so you would have to wear these clothes that had my family crest."
"Clothes in that small bag?" Luther began to open the back and to his surprise, there was a full set of clothes and shoes. As Luther reach his hands he quickly took out the shirt Megallan had prepared for him. It was black and orange with a strange beast he never sees before on it. "What is this beast?" He asked Megallan.
"The beast is called a kraken, that thing made my family famous. We hunt and killed them until only the strong ones were left alive." Said Megallan.
"Kraken? Like a snake?" Asked Luther.
"No, more like an octopus." Said Luna who was looking at the dress Megallan had prepared for her. It was silver had a golden V around its neck and had the same beast around its back.
"Do you know how it tastes Megallan?" Asked Luther.
"We humans can't eat that monster it contains too much poison." Said Megallan, Luther just shaked his head in response to that.
"Tell us the real reason we have to wear this," Luther said staring at Megallan.
Megallan release a sigh and began to slow down the car. "if you don't wear that symbol or any major family symbol you will have a high chance of getting kidnapped, and I need was to waste time tracking you down."
"Kidnapped? Do you think I would let someone kidnap me?" Said Luther who was now looking at Megallan in disgust. "He thinks that low of me." Luther said in his head.
"I know you won't let anyone kidnap you but their people here that are close to my strength and would think twice about using it." As Megallan said that Luther began to think about his meeting with Chia.
"If she can do that without trying, I could guess what someone else closer could do if they try." Said, Luther. Luther put his finger on his forehead, "This might be a problem." Luther whisper to Luna, this time he made sure that he said it quietly enough so that only she could hear it.
"Most if not all the people hear run some type of black market." Said Megallan as he pulls up to a huge building. "We will be staying here tonight, and after we wake up we will be going straight to the demon territory."
As Luther walked out of the car he played his sight on the building in front of him, which was like a traditional medieval castle but a little smaller. The sides had two giant stone orcs with an axe on their necks. If one had to describe the castle it would only need one word devious.
As Luther, Luna, and Megallan walked into the front door two maids came to greet them.
"Welcome to the lion's den!" Said both of the maids. "How may we help you?"
"I would like two rooms, one for me and the other for these two love birds." Said Megallan as he step in front of Luther and Luna.
Hearing Megallan call them lovebirds didn't displease them but instead made Luther filled with pride. "Mines and mines only." Luther thought to himself.
"Great, you can follow me, will she will take them to their room." Said one of the maids.
"Behave you two." Said Megallan as he left.
Luther and Luna began to follow the maid who was giving them a short tour of the castle.
"Over there is the kitchen I know y'all won't be here for long but I hope you can at least try our world-famous breakfast." Said the maid as she turn to face Luther and Luna. Her face quickly filled with disgust as she realize that they weren't even listening to her. "I don't think their eyes land on me once." The maid thought to herself.
