Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 "Meeting the Female Lead"

Even though I recieved the original owner's memories, Ruan Wen still need to familiarise herdelf to this new world.

There is a lot to take care of, now that I have to start a new life in this new world.

Are the rules from my previous world the same as they are here? The memory of the original owner left Ruan Wen can only answer so far. Besides even if she was not close to her parents, they are still family.

But the time for Ruan Wen to think about all this should be left for later. Because according to the memories, she should be hurrying to go to class at this time.

Without further ado, Ruan Wen set every questions she have aside for now and went to clean herself up.

Ruan Wen wore a plain colored shirt and jeans she found in her wardrobe, along with some sneakers and she was ready to go. Gathering her things she might need to a bag, Ruan Wen tied her hair to a simple pony tail and went out the dorms.

She did not had a hard time finding her classroom and just in time before the professor came in soon after her.

As the professor start taking the attendance, a girl suddenly sat beside Ruan Wen startling her. Just in time as the professor called out a name.

"...Yu Xiyun!"

"Here professor!" raising her arm, he girl who sat down beside her replied.

Looking up at the girl named Yu Xiyun beside her, Ruan Wen saw a beautiful girl with straight long hair, small round face with tall nose, thin rosy lips, and pheonix eyes, she have two tear shape mole under her left eye giving an overall look seductive but innocent charm to her.

Ruan Wen can hardly take her eyes off of her, she suddenly thought of the female protagonist in the new book that her previous world roommate Xia Miaomiao. Whose name was also Yu Xiyun!

This girl beside her fits Miaomiao's female lead description to a T!

'Oh NO!....NO NO NO NO NO!'

Ruan Wen almost shouted as she realized this.

Now that she thought about it, Ruan Wen never crossed her mind to figured out what world she transmigrated into!

To think it was an apocalyptic novel of all things!

She have read a lot of novels where there was a character whose name was the same as her, CEO romace novels are full of those!

Maybe it was just a coincidence! What else do I know about the female protagonist in the early days of the book?

Right! Her best friend was named Zhang Qian that has a roommate whose name was Ruan Wen who turned into a zombie king that the male and female protagonist's group killed!

'Damn!..Am I that Ruan Wen?!'

Snapping out of her daze, Ruan Wen immediately turned to Yu Xiyun.

"Do you by chance know Zhang Qian, first year, english department?" Ruan Wen asked looking at her intently hoping she will say no!

"Yes, I know her she's my best friend." Yu Xiyun replied and asked, "Aren't you her roommate?"

Ruan Wen did not know what to say, "Right!..I just thought you look familiar so..." she replied awkwardly.

Yu Xiyun just smiled and turned back to listen to the professor who just started the lesson.

Time passed by Ruan Wen barely noticed anything around her, still shocked after confirming the girl sitting beside her, Yu Xiyun's identity as the female protagonist.

Throughout the entire class, Ruan Wen was in daze, she didn't even noticed that all her classmates including the one beside her go out. It wasn't until the next class in the room was about to start when she pulled herself together.

'I can't do much about the fact that I'm in an apocalyptic novel. It was still fortunate that I realized it early, now instead of later, I can still prepare supplies and everything, right?!'

Ruan Wen thought, trying to find any reason she can think of not to have a full blown panic attack!

'It was not so bad at the very least I knows exactly when the zombie apocalypse will start, plus where the cheats are! And...and the fact that that the apocalypse will eventually end!'

Cheering up, Ruan Wen chanted to herself, 'I can do this!' over and over again. She went out of the classroom optimistic about her future as she went back to her dorm room.
