"I see you have the audacity to show up here," Amber said as she sized her up and down. Amy would have normally avoided this conversation but tonight, no, the blood boiling in her and the frustration after frustration that seemed to pile up seemed to much for her to contain.
"Did you lose your way or something, step-sister?" Amber was taken a bit by the attitude.
"Wow, so much for a mistress." Now she was speaking loudly enough to gain the attention of people in the room.
Amy looked around and gave her a smug smile. "You know, I really have no time to argue with brainless people, ohm, if you don't have anything to do, may I pass?"
Amber's jaw was ticking and her eyes were blazing in anger. "Busy," she spat out. "Busy doing what, gold digging?"
Amy folded her hands and tilted her head a bit as if Amber was the one losing her mind. "Excuse me, step-sister, I don't get you, do you want my husband?" she remained serious.
