Keenan's POV
I couldn't wait to get to the bottom of the things that had started happening around me. The drive that seemed like eternal road finally came to an end after getting to the hospital . I walked in without knocking and headed straight to Ryan's room.
"Do you think I leave here with you, Mr Russell?", Ryan asked as he got up from bed.
"I'm not ready for your jokes, I'm in serious trouble ", I cut him off taking a seat beside him on the bed.
"Whoa whoa whoa, how come Mr Russell of all people is burning up with is it anger or frustration?", I didn't know if it was a question he was asking or he was just trying to mock my seriousness.
"Ryan as I said , there's fire on the mountain and I need your help", I ignored his comments.
"If truly there's fire on the mountain, what can I do to help quench that fire since I'm stuck here?", he was telling the truth but that was not the question I wanted to hear from him.
I knew he knows nothing about what I got myself into earlier but the time had come for me to tell him so he would know how to help me solve the problem that was emerging.
"All I need now is for you to listen to me very carefully ", I cautioned.
"I'm all ears but can you calm down first, you seem all worked up", he urged.
"I can't be calm now but I'm sure I'd be calm after I get to the root of this", I told him.
"Can you tell me what the problem is now, I'm dying to hear it….only If it's not a horror movie….you know how I hate horror movies", he said pausing in between his sentences.
"This is it..", I started
"Mmm", he responded urging me to continue.
"The woman I loved most got entangled in a situation and I had to get involved in it to solve the issue.", I continued.
"You. Keenan. Loved a woman?… Can you just give a detailed information if you really need my help?", he sounded confused and I didn't blame him.
"Listen Ryan, that woman is my mum. You know she got kidnapped sometime ago and was later found back home after school one day right?", I asked.
"Yeah. Buh it's been a long time and how does that affect the so called fire on the mountain?", he questioned confused. It was normal for him be to confused because I was suddenly talking about an old issue.
"Do you know how my mum got back home?", I suddenly asked him.
"How would I know the details when all you said was you just met her home?", he was right.
"I was forced to do something very bad against my will in exchange for my mum's life...,to rape someone", I finally confessed.
I knew this was going to shock him but if he was going to help, then he needed to know what was going on.
"You must be joking right?", he asked and I just gave him a straight face.
"What…what, you are being serious right now?", he finally realized how serious I was.
"Well buddy , if that was what saved your mama's ass then that isn't any problem , is it?
"Is wasn't a problem until I recently realized it wasn't a secret, someone filmed me", I sighed out of frustration.
"Bloody hell? Who did that?"
"That is why I need your help Ryan, I need to find the person before things got out of hand".
"But how did you know you were filmed?
"I found out because the person sent the image to Ash, but I was fast enough to delete before she could open it", I simply replied.
"Wait a minute…, why would the person send such images to Ash?"
"Because…..be…cause…"
"Fuck you Keenan, she was the one you raped?", he sounded mad.
"I didn't mean to Ryan, I couldn't decide and I didn't know I was going to ever meet her again not to talk of falling in love with her", I couldn't explain the pain I was going through. My heart was aching so badly for the stress I put her through. I knew I didn't deserve to be loved but I can't stand it when she hates me.
"Karma is indeed a bitch", he mouthed
