I don't know why I behaved like that after being happy he was in school. Maybe I just didn't want Jennie to start her silly thoughts. After a short while we entered the class, Ryan followed quietly and sat in his seat. I realized he was staring at me from time to time but I didn't mind and I managed to avoid any eye contact with him. I didn't know why he looked so down but why did I have to care about someone like him. Just then, I remembered my mission, maybe getting closer to Ryan will help me find out the whole truth even though I didn't trust him that much. I then decided to look at him in the eye just to get his attention but he looked away as soon as we made eye contact.
'What's wrong with this guy', I thought. I then decided to use the paper method to communicate with him. Just when I wrote my message on the paper ready to throw, Keenan walked in. I didn't want him to think anything else since he had started opening up to me so I hid the paper in my bag and smiled wildly at me. Surprisingly, he smiled back. I actually thought he would be cold towards me since that's his normal nature.
"How are you doing?", he asked after sitting down. That was the first time Keenan Russell ever asked of how I was doing but maybe it will now be a normal thing between us.
"I'm doing great, you?", I responded.
"Good too", he said with another smile. I seriously had to get used to it now. He then took out a book from his bag and started reading it. I took the opportunity to throw the paper to Ryan since Keenan had his concentration on the book he was reading.
Immediately my hand came down after throwing the paper, Keenan turned to look at me and smiled. It was now getting awkward. Getting awkward because I'm not used to seeing him smile from time to time like that so it made me very uncomfortable too but I had to smile back so he wouldn't be suspicious of me.
On the other side, I realized Ryan had gotten my messages and was staring at me. I just gave him a nod then turned to also read a book while waiting for class to begin. I also wondered why was quietly looking at Jennie and Ryder playing their love games.
'What at all has come over Ryan Parker ?', I asked no one in particular. And Reuben was also looking at Ryan the same way I was also staring at him. I think he's also asking the same question I'm asking too.
We waited patiently for the lecturer to come but he never showed up till the siren went on for lunch time. I couldn't wait any more to talk to Ryan since I asked him to meet me during lunch on the paper I threw at him. Immediately he saw me going out, he followed and when Jennie tried to follow me, he said something which I didn't know what it was to her before joining me outside the class. He came to meet me leaning infront of my locker and smiled at me shocking me again. Seriously the two cold guys were scaring the hell out of me suddenly.
I didn't want him to think we were friends so I put on a cold face to meet him.
