Yao Zizhou stood with his back to the sun. His features were a bit hazy, and the tense feeling from before was gone, leaving only gentleness for Ming Liuyi.
The two of them looked at each other, and for a moment, the world seemed to quiet down.
Yao Zizhou reached out his hand. "Liuyi, let's go home."
Ming Liuyi sat in the car and realized something. She asked, "Why didn't you leave?" She then seemed to have thought of something and said in annoyance, "You knew that I wouldn't pass the interview, right?"
Yao Zizhou did not want to hurt her feelings, so he simply said, "No, I was delayed by some matters."

After I got here, she found out that I can't work here with my academic qualifications. Not to mention that I can only be a volunteer at most."
