Ambition of the Immortal follows the story of Qing Ming, one of the very few true immortals in all of the land. He has cultivated to the absolute known peak of all living beings over a span of countlesss thousands of years, finally reaching the status of True Immortal after endless trials. Only, that was a very long time ago, and he is completely stagnant in mind and body. Qing Ming appears as a fourty year-old middle-aged human on the outside. He freely flips through the pages of space-time, traversing many realms with a single thought. Himself and some others have become too powerful in the vision of universal law. It's about that time again. Every one billion years, the original creator erases all life from existence to watch it crawl back up again for its own entertainment. Qing Ming should have reverted with everyone else, even though he was a peak immortal cultivator at the top of all life forms, the creator is much more powerful than that. At the final moment, Qing Ming was able to comprehend a tiny sliver of the creator's intent to revert time and slow his own time down to give him enough time to realizing what was happening. During this micro blip, he gathered every ounce of power and fiber of his being to fire a fragment of his soul faster than the speed of light towards the edge of the universe. Part of his consciousness was able to physically leave the universe as if to leave a bubble. This miraculously went unnoticed by the creator, who had become 1% complacent over his 100 billion years as the strongest. As Lin escaped the universe, he simultaneously gained wisdom that upgraded his soul to something that exceeded the abilities of any other living creature previously. There was another universe. The old universe was only a smaller universe inside of an infinitely more vast one. What sort of adventures await Lin, and will he ever be able to return back home?

That never works.” The doctor waves off Brett as he approaches the summoning circle. “Right, I’m sure those movies were all scientifically accurate.” Brett says as he rolls his eyes. “Also, how do you plan on using someone’s DNA to make a cure? This is a medieval society with no modern technology. We can’t cure a headache let alone manipulating the genome to cure some Zombie disease.” “All in a matter of course, dear Watson.” Doc says as he begins activating the summoning circle. “For the last time, my name’s Brett!” “You may not be able to see as far ahead as I can, but I assure you, I have everything under control. My genius has already begun to bear fruit as I have created the first of many modern installations!” “All you did was make a table.” Brett responds as he walks towards the solid steel table at the center of the summoning circle. “And didn’t you make this with magic? How can you call that a scientific advancement?” “To you it may be just a table but to me it’s the first step to saving the world! Activate!” The summoning circle glows as magic power courses through the complicated runes. A bright light flashes and suddenly an unconscious man is lying flat on the table. “It worked! Check to see if he’s okay!” “Are you surprised it worked? I thought you said you tested this thing.” “Shut up and check on him!” Brett places his hand on the man’s neck to check his pulse. “Yup, he’s fine.” “Fantastic! And you didn’t even collapse into a black hole from touching him.” “I’m sorry, what?!” “Oh, due to the disruption in spacetime there was a small chance something like that could have happened.
