Danial rushed towards Johnny who was sitting on his throne. Johnny saw Danial rushing at him and he instinctively took out his gun wanting to shoot Danial on the stop. Danial saw what Johnny was about to do and let out a roar. He released all of the Peak third stage of mortal cultivation and shook Johnny.
For once, he never knew that the house that his subordinates trashed belonged to a Martial artist. The gun he was holding fell on the floor. Johnny's knees gave out and he kneeled in front of Danial who arrived in front of him. Johnny said pleadingly " Forgive me sir I didn't know....."
Before he could finish his sentence Danial slapped him. Johnny was thrown across the room, half of his face was bloodied and numb. He looked at Danial and raged " You slapped me? How dare you slap me do you know who I am and what I do? I am Johnny Langley the most powerful gangster in the southern district"
Johnny tried to stand but realised that he couldn't move his legs. He looked at Danial who was approaching him and was stunned. Danial looked like a demon who climbed out of the deepest parts of hell. His aura was rampant and his eyes were bloodshot.
Danial stood in front of Johnny like a towering giant.
He picked up Johnny by the throat with one hand and suspended him in the air like he was holding a child. Johnny looked in horror and tried to negotiate with Danial. " Sir I-I-I am sorry I am willing to compensate your loses" Danial snorted and said in a low voice " Compensate? Can you compensate for the mental damage you brought to my family? Can you compensate for the tears that my mother lost? Can you compensate for that!!!"
Danial shouted at the top of his lungs, his words echoing and reaching far. Johnny widened his eye and said stutteringly " W -w -we can talk about that please have mercy on me"
Danial looked Johnny straight in the eye and said "Mercy? did you show mercy when you entered my house and terrorised my mother?" Johnny couldn't find words to refute. Danial threw him on the ground and said psychotically " Let me show you what terror looks like"
Johnny looked at Danial in horror. He never thought a 17-year-old would have such an aura, such a temper. Danial slowly approached Johnny who was trying to crawl away and stepped on his leg.
Johnny couldn't bear the pain as he screamed hysterically.
Danial slowly ground his foot on Johnny's leg. Danial continued to grind his foot on Johnny's leg, relishing in the pain that he was inflicting upon him. Johnny tried to push Danial's foot away, but his efforts were in vain. Danial's strength was far beyond his own. "Please, Danial, I beg you,"
Johnny cried out in agony. "Have mercy on me. I will do anything you ask." Danial didn't even look at him and stepped on his other leg breaking it as well. Johnny kept shouting as he bore the pain that Danial was causing him.
Danial then moved to his right arm and slowly started breaking each finger. Danial showed no signs of stopping as he continued to break each of Johnny's fingers one by one. The room echoed with the sound of bones snapping and Johnny's screams of pain. Danial stopped breaking Johnny's finger and took out a crumbled note from his pocket he stuffed the note in Johnny's broken hand and said "I won't kill you but if you don't send this note to its original owner I will kill you. "
Johnny looked at Danial and nodded vigorously.
He then turned around and walked to the exit. There he saw Don Albert standing stiff as if he saw the devil himself. Danial patted Don Albert and said " No one should know anything" Don Albert nodded his head as if his life depended on it. Danial continued " I won't harm the one who stands with me so don't fret I won't eat you "
Relief washed over Don Albert as he replied "I understand "
Danial looked back and saw Johnny whimpering in pain and said " From on you will work under Don Albert and I want that note sent to its owner"
Danial turned and walked out of the room, leaving Johnny writhing in pain on the floor. As he stepped out into the night air, he took a deep breath and tried to calm down.
The rage that had overtaken him was unlike anything he had ever experienced before. He had always prided himself on his control and discipline, but when he saw what Johnny had done to his home and his family, all of that had gone out the window. He had never felt such a powerful surge of energy before, and he was both fascinated and frightened by it.
Danial continued walking through the empty streets, his mind still reeling from the events that had just transpired. He couldn't believe how he had lost control like that, how he had let his anger get the best of him. He knew that he needed to learn how to control his emotions better, especially now that he had reached the peak of mortal cultivation.
As he walked, he tried to focus on his breathing, taking deep, slow breaths in and out. He closed his eyes and concentrated on the sound of his own heartbeat, trying to calm himself down. It took him a few minutes, but eventually, he was able to regain his composure.
He knew that he needed to learn how to control it, but for now, he would try to keep it under wraps as best he could. As he walked through the deserted streets, his mind raced with thoughts of what he had just done. He had hurt another person, possibly even crippled him for life.
It was not something that he was proud of, but he knew that it had been necessary. He then became aware of a beeping sound and realised it was coming from the System. He was stunned. He then realised that the System was always beeping since he entered Johnny's hideout but the rage consumed him and he didn't notice it.
He opened the System and saw the following words" The host is experiencing enormous amounts of anger. The host is advised to calm down or else his inner demons may take over. "
Danial looked at the System and thought Inner demons? Take over? " Danial didn't care and closed the System. He then walked towards the place where his mother was being treated hoping to see her smile once again
He entered the hospital and headed towards the ward where his mother was being treated. Don Albert trailed behind him like a subordinate. Danial entered the ward and saw Dorothy chatting happily with his mother.
As soon as Sophie saw Danial, her face lit up land saw gestured for him to come closer. Danial being the obedient child, he ran and hug his mother. Sophie didn't resist and in return hugged Danial as well.
Danial felt all of his anger and frustration melt away as he rest his head on his mother's shoulder. He felt at that moment that his mother deserves all of the happiness in the world. He made sure to take some steps to avoid what happened today.
Don Albert who was watching this small reunion was stunned. He didn't understand how Danial looked like Devil reincarnate when he was confronting Johnny and now, the same person behaved like a small child in front of his mother.
Dorothy who was sitting beside Sophie looked over and saw Don Albert. She didn't recognize him and thought he was a passerby who saw the reunion. Albert noticed Dorothy's gaze and backed away.
Dorothy made a mental note to ask Danial if he knew who he was.
After completing the necessary procedures, Danial stood at the counter to settle the bill when the nurse who was in charge of the billing counter said " A gentleman here decided to settle the bill for you and now you won't need to pay anything"
Danial was confused. He was about to ask the identity of the gentleman when he realised it must be Don Albert who must have settled the bill for him.
He thanked the nurse and went to his mother.
Sophie asked Danial " Have you settled the bill?"
Danial replied honestly " Some gentlemen decided to settle the bill for us"
Sophie was stunned " Did you ask the name of that gentleman?"
Danial replied " He wanted to remain anonymous so the nurse didn't answer"
Sophie was confused. She shook her head and decided not to mule over it"
Danial, Dorothy and Sophie then went to Danial's house.
While walking towards the neighbourhood, Danial noticed a group of people following him in the dark. Danial made a mental note and ignored them for the time being.
When Danial reached his now trashed house he walked over to Dorothy who started cleaning up the mess and said softly " Stay with my mother for a while, I will return after a while."
Dorothy who was initially stunned only nodded " Hmm"
She was clever enough not to ask about his actions when he went through such a situation. She reminded him " Come home early "
Danial nodded and walked away from his house. After walking for a while he stopped and said loudly " Who ever is following you can show your self"
At that moment 5 martial artist jumped out from the dark. I immediately recognized one of the Marshal Barns!
I greeted Marshal Barns and asked politely" Marshal Barns what bring you for this visit"
Marshal Barns waved his hands and said " You don't need to be polite with me, now have you decided on your decision"
Danial fell into deep thought.
