Chapter 9 - (I) This life form is different from others

So, finally, the seal can be broken. How long have I been imprisoned, millennia or more?

What universe is this?

Curse that woman;

She is as merciless as ever. I'd better not fool with her again;

I need to break this seal completely now. I can sense some living form nearby, two separate life forms, one with a weak life force and another that is not bad. I should take control of the one with the most life energy for the time being and break this seal from the outside.

Right now, the only free space I have inside this seal is around my arm, and I use my nails to make this seal as weak as possible from inside as well so that I can send part of the life energy to the living form that is assisting me in breaking the seal outside. Without my assistance, that living form has no chance against this seal.

This life form is doing better than I thought, but I'm not sure why I sense a weak life form approaching the seal. I don't recall controlling her; did the life form feel my presence, or did the life form decide to assist me in breaking this seal of its own will?

Whatever, if I can break this seal, that's all that matters for the time being.

I can feel the weak life form disturbing the one who is supporting me; should I erase that now? I don't believe the life form has enough strength to stop the one who is supporting me, so I let it live for the time being.

I can see the seal breaking, and then I'll be free. I should now thank the living form who assisted me in breaking the seal.

Just wait a moment.

Does something seem to be wrong here?

I can see three life forms in front of me, so why am I just experiencing two life forces?

Why can't I sense the third?

I can sense the life force of any size from three to four universes away, yet even after sighting this life form in front of me, I can't sense its life force.

Is it possible that being imprisoned in the seal for a millennium dulls my senses? No way. It's not the first time I've slept for millennia, but it's the first time I can't detect life forms.

I'd better take a good look at this life form, but I have work to do first.

The life form that assisted me seems to lose so much of its energy and its life force decreasing at a very fast rate, I better replenish it quickly, If I don't repay my gratitude to this life form then the master won't be pleased with my actions.

So, I got a careful look at the life form and took it in my palm, wondering what the problem was with this weak life form, does it like to disturb everyone?

I'm here trying to save this life form in my palm, but this weak one is acting against it, so I decided to give it a warning roar, concealing my power as much as possible.

I should begin transferring some life force to this life form that helped me.

Immediately, I witnessed a weak living form fall to the ground, as if something inside its body was slowly killing its life force.

It appears that the life form that likes to disturb and the strange life form that sits quietly are related, so I should let the mysterious one handle this disturbing one.

I should start transferring life force quickly, "|#(i|=e|)\ $H@\/\/ (\/)e/)\$'/ @() /\h|$ $@(/L" This should suffice for the time being.

In the meantime, I should look for a better environment to keep this living form warm. I can see a house-like object on the tree, almost like the house of the life forms with long ears; I'll move both this life form and another weak life form to a warm spot immediately, which should help them replenish their life force.

This place appears to be surprisingly good; now these two life forms can rest.

What are these little orbs on the ground?

Is this one edible?

I detect some natural force in it, so it must be edible.

This taste differs from what we get in the central void; I'm not sure what universe this is, but I have a hunch I know roughly what kind of universe it is. This must be the throwaway universe on the outskirts of the growing void;

Before sealing me, she warned me not to make fun of her. She will seal me and toss me into one of the throwaway universes if I don't stop. She is notorious for sticking to her words; thus, this must be one of the throwaway universes she mentioned.

Aside from that, the third life form is a mystery.

I am aware of only one being in this void who can consciously suppress and increase his life force.

No living form in the whole void has mastered this skill; even the leaders of the shiny and dark ones have failed to learn it despite spending an infinite number of years trying.

The mysterious life form is currently sitting silently in front of me, looking at me.

This orb-like thing is delicious; I like to eat everything, but I should share some orbs with the mysterious one.

I need to see if these life forms know how to speak first. Every universe had life forms with its method of communication, and the majority of them used sound, so I should start with some simple sounds.

What exactly is this facial expression? Is it having difficulty understanding me? Now I'll use the next way, writing on the ground.

What is that mysterious life form doing, it appears he's looking for something in that bag-like thing?

Finally, the mysterious one pulls something out, and I think to myself, "Wow, this must be my lucky day, I'm encountering miracles one after the other".

These life forms displayed a book, indicating that they communicate in writing, implying that they have their language to speak. This demonstrates that these life forms have some intelligence.

Now is the time for me to start learning their language so that I can communicate with them more effectively. I'll ask this mysterious life form to teach me the sound of each word; once I know the sound, it'll be simple to understand what it means by examining all of the possibilities the world presents while reading the entire book.

This method is the best way to learn any language, and I am excited to learn this life form way of life. I'll write these symbols from the book and ask for the sound, and strangely, this mysterious life form cooperates quite nicely.

Is this mysterious one attempting to communicate with me?

Why is it writing symbols on the ground with orbs that resemble fruits?

Is it getting ready to enchant some spell?

I don't know the meaning of every symbol written by the mysterious life form; therefore, I can't understand what it's saying right now. I should keep learning this life form's language, but for now.

I observed that the mysterious one struggling to make the sounds of these symbols; it must be exhausted. I should go gather some orb-like fruits for this life form.

If I recall correctly, I saw some of these orb-like fruits around where my seal was broken. I believe I have gathered more than enough, now I should go to the mysterious one and continue learning.

Why is this mysterious life form changing its expression? Is it crying? Do they have emotions? What!! This life form is amazingly clever; who would have thought to look for something interesting in a throwaway universe? Now I'm even more curious about their language.

The mysterious life form seemed to have gained energy after consuming the orb-like fruits I brought. I believe I have learned almost all of the symbols and their respective sounds; I am beginning to notice the same symbols and sounds repeating.

Now I'm going to focus and learn this language by considering all of the possibilities that each symbol represents.

I guess I took longer than I planned, I can see the mystery one resting, and now I will finish this book. But I'm still shocked that I can't sense a life force in the mysterious one.

I finally understand these life forms after finishing the ambiguous book that was handed.

They refer to themselves as humans and divide themselves into male and female classifications. They are further classified as boys/girls and men/women based on their lifetime spent. There appear to be kings and queens.

They are similar to the leaders that these humans follow. The king also possesses a higher being known as God.

Gods are thought to be positive beings; yet, in order to make them appear more positive, they described an opposing being known as a demon. This demon creature is mainly associated with evil.

If I'm correct, these gods and demons must represent leaders of both shiny and dark origins.

They are more powerful, even our first in command has little difficulty fighting them one on one.

These humans are intriguing, but the one that piques my attention the most is the mysterious one without a life force.

I've spent a millennium sleeping inside the seal, and talking about gods and demons brings up memories of the battle between the shiny and the dark. For the time being, I have no idea what's going on outside of this reality, but I have a nasty feeling.

If I remember correctly, the human boy drew something on the ground with the fruits that spelled Lahsiv, which had to be his name. He seemed to have attempted to exchange our names.

I can see the light of the heat core; thus, it appears like this planet made a circle around its heat core.

I hope the human boy slept well; I'd best wake him up. I'm not sure how many millennia or years these humans sleep for, but according to the book, humans have the shortest life span I've ever seen, so they won't be sleeping for long.

I'm not sure if Lahsiv was his name, so I try it; if he wakes up responding to it, I'm correct.

"Lahsiv, wake up," was the first human language word I spoke.

It appears that I hit the mark since the human boy reacted to it and made some gestures.

Why is he now approaching me, and does he intend to climb this thing? I doubt he has the energy to walk; I should stop him before he injures himself; I have a lot of questions for him. If he's hurt, I can't ask him questions.

He keeps staring at the human girl and the other life form that helped me, so it appears that he is worried about his partners. He then asked me, "Why Rin and Browny don't wake up?"

Is he an idiot?

How do I know when they rise up?

But wait, I think I know why; the life form that helped me lost most of its life force, so it is normal that it is taking time to recover; in the case of the human girl, something is killing her from within, so I explained what's happening to them to Lahsiv.

Suddenly, he falls to his knees and begins to beg me to save them. It's not unusual for me to see creatures bending and pleading when they see a higher form standing in front of them, but I've never seen someone go on the knee for someone else's sake.

I'm sure he's begging in his face not out of fear, but out of concern for his companions.

Lahsiv also declared that he will offer his life instead of Rin's, assuming Rin is the name of the human girl, and the other life form is known as Browny.

I warned Lahsiv that taking his life is pointless; even if he offers his life, the girl named Rin will be devastated to learn that she acquired her life by killing someone close to her. Furthermore, "how can I eliminate such a fascinating life form?" I thought.

I'm more interested in Lahsiv now; how can he offer his life casually to someone when he knows he won't be there when the other person is alive, in other words, he won't be able to celebrate the gift he sacrificed his life for.

I told Lahsiv not to worry and that we should go pick some orb-like fruits because we needed to transfer some life force to Rin and Browny to help them heal faster. I should walk back to where I picked the orb-like fruit, but it appears that Lahsiv has decided to follow me this time.

He is continuously looking at the tree from which I used to take life force; therefore, I believe he is worried about the tree as well. In every aspect, he is more mysterious.

He questioned what happened to the tree and about my life transfer process, as predicted. It appears that these humans have never heard of life transfer, but in the book, I read, I observed a few people practicing life transfer and healing others;

I believe they neglected to transmit such skills to the following generation, or not every human is as compassionate as Lahsiv. I'd better teach him about life force and life force transfer; without this fundamental knowledge, he won't be able to survive outside of the throwaway universe.

He appears to be slow in understanding; he still looks at the tree and is concerned; I should remind him that the tree recovers its life force more quickly. He doesn't seem to grasp the concept of the life force because he asked me my name out of the blue.

This individual appears to be unaware of what is going on outside the universe, and they have no idea who I am. I should warn Lahsiv that he doesn't have enough life force to call me by my name, I'd best advise him to think of a name on his own.

I can't stop laughing when I see Lahsiv, I have never seen a life form more interesting than him, he is an interesting fellow.

After some time, he decided to call me Dearg, not a bad sense of naming, I like it so no complaints.

I can't ask Lahsiv any more questions if he's constantly worried about the human girl Rin and the life form Browny, so we'd better go back and give them some of the life force from these orb-like fruits.

I will ask him all the questions I want to learn from them once they are well.

As I began to transfer life force, I picked up on something peculiar about the human girl. Most of the time, it takes time for life forms to associate with other life forces; even if they do, it won't be entirely acceptable; some life forces may escape into their surroundings since the life form rejects some of them.

However, in the case of the human girl Rin, she takes life force from another life form perfectly as if it were her own, and she also absorbs life force from her surroundings unconsciously in order to recover.

I thought Lahsiv was the only one who was mysterious, but it appears that "like attracts like," and the mysterious one is surrounded by more mysterious ones. I guess I should ask Lahsiv about Rin, although it's unlikely he's unaware of Rin's abilities. I should wait and learn about them slowly.

Lahsiv appears to have adapted to my presence, as he casually began questioning, and now he has come up with another surprise that made me goosebumps, he explained how Rin and Browny were the only ones who felt my presence, to be honest, the question is mine, to begin with, why I sensed only two life forces when there are three life forms.

This Lahsiv question confirmed one of two possibilities:

Lahsiv's life force is so weak that others cannot detect it, and vice versa he cannot feel the presence of others, or he is so powerful that our presence is nothing in comparison to him, and vice versa we cannot feel him because he is a completely higher being than us.

I really feel the latter is impossible.

So, I'm not sure why he isn't conscious of my presence. If the presence he is referring to is fear rather than a life aura, it suggests that he has greater mental strength than the other two or a greater ability to accept reality.

I feel no fear in his eyes; he considers me as his equal, despite the fact that I am vastly superior to him at this moment.

I understand why he is unsatisfied with my response to his question, but I am also puzzled since, because I don't know the precise answer, I am unable to explain adequately.

The best time to ask him about the gods and demons listed in the book he handed me is now.

When I did, he said that gods are the ones who created all living things and demons are those who cause destruction. They appear to possess the opposite trait.

He added that after eating a forbidden fruit offered to them by a demon, gods separated mankind from them, and once more, God actually protected them from demons.

But there are numerous gaps in his explanation, so I began to probe further into his response.

I wondered why God doesn't entirely annihilate demons, whether it's because he feels sympathy for them or because he lacks the power to do so. I also mentioned that I had an idea about the demon that gave their forefather forbidden fruit.

Lahsiv was taken aback; of course, he would be; I'm talking about the time when their life form first appears.

It's not uncommon for higher beings like me to utilize our life force to create new life forms whenever we want, but most of us aren't interested in those things.

However, some higher beings make life forms and observe how they progress; once they become bored, they simply discard them.

I'd best not inform Lahsiv, because knowing that your entire existence is spent minimizing someone's boredom and keeping them entertained is worse than death itself.

Lahsiv proceeded to ask questions about the universe and what is beyond it?

Who we are?

Who gave their forefather the forbidden fruit? and what his name was...?

I understand his eagerness, but I want him to wait till she arrives.

I don't enjoy calling her because she imprisoned me in a seal for making a joke. But, given the circumstances, she is the only person who can provide answers to these questions other than our first in command. I prefer to ask first in command, but he is quite unpredictable, and if he becomes offended or annoyed, he may ruin this entire reality, so she is the better option.

I warned Lahsiv not to ask a higher being's name so lightly since if he makes a slight mistake, it not only hurts him but also threatens the entire reality.

I told him to be patient and that he would get his answer after I clarified some things with him and Rin.

I don't like calling her since, to be honest, I never expected to need her assistance. I can maintain my pride and stop calling her, but I don't think ignoring the subject of someone existing without a life force, or someone whose life force we can't detect, is not a minor issue.

Given the bad vibes, I'm getting from outside this universe. Not to mention the fact that our first commander was involved with this life form.

According to Lahsiv, someone offered the forbidden fruit to their forefather, and as a result, they were separated from the gods.

In actuality, humans just opened their eyes and began looking at them after consuming the fruit, almost as if they were freed from the enchantment that had blinded them.

It must be our first in command who offers them the forbidden fruit, which is nothing more than a concentration of information centered on a single point and directly inserted into a life form. They mistook it for fruit since it resembles the shape of the fruit on this planet.

So, I'd best say her name before I change my mind...

(Avagrada......…)

(Dearg shouted her name in his tongue with such force that the entire continent shook as a result of the vibration he created while shouting her name.)

Who is this Avagrada, why did Dearg forsake his pride and put so much importance on two simple human youngsters, and who is this first in command he mentions! What's going on outside the universe... Let's see how this voyage goes…
