After a good hour of brawling, the Alpha and Beta pulled apart. Both looked like they had been chewed up and spat out by a grizzly bear. They looked at each other warily, ready to start if the other didn’t back down.
“You need to train more, Alpha. You wouldn’t last an hour and a half with a rogue Alpha,” Josiah teased.
Rowan grunted and uttered with a swollen face, “You had to go for my face, didn’t you? She already hates me. At least a pretty face would have bought me an in.”
“Lovesick idiot. Are you going to tell me what’s going on now?” Josiah asked softly and winced as he walked toward one of the tossed chairs.
Eyes rolling, Rowan nodded. Limping to his desk, he opened his laptop and showed Josiah the emails.
Josiah swore. “I understand your insanity, bro. Come on, let’s get patched up and see how we can sort this out.” He gestured towards the cracked door.
