Tenji shakes his head slowly then responds carefully, "no... You can't... It wouldn't work well for you at all... Besides... you're already busy with your studies... you don't need to worry about something as dangerous as that."
Ara purses her lips together tightly before asking quietly, "why do you say that professor? What makes me unsuitable to participate in something like that?"
"I'm not interested in having another–" Tenji pauses mid-sentence when he notices the look of disappointment on Ara's face. His expression softens and he continues more gently this time around, "...another student under my tutelage. There are plenty of other sorcerers who'd love the opportunity to tutor someone of your caliber."
