"Freida?" Arima inquired once more after he noticed that Freida was just staring at him in complete silence.
Freida felt as though she was abruptly brought back to the present the moment that Arima called out her name so many times that she had already stopped counting how many times she had been called.
"I'm sorry. I–I just became a little dramatic after giving some thought on Yajel's case." Freida did, in the end, respond after she had finally regained her composure and returned to her senses. She continued by saying, "You know, Arima, if there was something that I realized here, it's that regardless of how powerful an individual could be, if it's already their time to depart, not even their powers could alter what's imminent."
