Yajel had to force himself out of the sword that was piercing through him, and when he did, a pool of blood burst out of his chest.
As Robeus drew his sword back, his sword was dripping with blood.
Yajel could feel the sharpness of Robeus' blade gliding out of his own flesh, like how people normally slice a piece of meat. In Yajel's case, however, it was different. It was almost too painful to bear. He suffered excruciating pain as the blade sliced through his body. He had to tough it out for a brief period of time in order to maintain his composure and ensure that Robeus would not discover that he was in pain.
And as soon as Yajel was successful enough to get away from Robeus, he immediately pressed his arm against that fresh wound on his chest in an attempt to momentarily stop his bleeding. It was sufficient for the time being to prevent an even greater loss of blood than had already occurred.
