The following day Loraine went to the company early in the morning.
"Good day Miss Loraine, how are you?" Mr. Albert greeted her as soon as she entered the office.
"Nice to see you again, Mr. Albert. I have been doing well these days!" Loraine said with a smile.
Though in truth, she had been doing so much more work than she wanted to do, she could not complain since she knew they were busy, overloaded with work as well.
"That's good to hear. I can rest assured that you can perform well," Mr. Albert said with a smile.
Loraine knew that Mr. Albert was worried that she might have continued worrying about her father and might not be able to do her role properly since there was still no news about her father.
Everyone was already expecting the worst outcome because until now, her father still was not found.
