The sea has been your best friend from a very young age, but something was odd about the waters, it seems to call you more and more. The voices you heard during the nights were amazing but still tempting, every efforts you made to block the songs were useless until you finally made up your mind to care less about the night songs.
Even though the sea was dangerous, that doesn't mean swimming wasn't one of your hobbies. The afternoon was the best time of the day for any activity, including swimming. Already in your bikini, you jump into the water...
"Water bomb!!" You screamed making a huge splash, your best friend Andy giggled as he saw you jump like a child into the ocean
"Be careful under the water" you could hear Andy voice before getting deep
Under the water was beautiful, the school of fishes with random colours, corals of various shape, size, and colour. The skies were getting dark grey which means a heavy Storm will soon hit that region, leaving your trance of the underwater beauty you started swimming towards the surface when icy cold hands dragged you deeper...
You were almost out of breath, and something is pushing you deeper, sharply turning your head towards the strange thing that is holding your stomach tightly, you saw something that almost made your heart skip a beat....
It was a man, no a merman or something like that. His eyes were like silver and black, his hair were dazzling pure silver and his tail followed the same colour of sparkling silver, if this was a human he would be far more than a model. He placed one hand on your face which you realized was webbed with claw like nails....
"Stay Longer.... Be my MATE". His voice was odd, strange, pressed with heavy effort, wait did he say mate!. At the mention of that, you came back to reality. Pushing him away with force you swam with speed to the surface, even though being a fast swimmer you were no match to him. Dragging your ankle, he made your back hit a huge rock under the sea, trapping you under his cold chest
"DON'T BE STUBBORN MATE!!!" His voice now was with pronounced anger, opening his mouth to show sets ofshark like teeth he came closer to your shoulder,
You don't want that to happen, any seconds from now your lungs will be filled with water. Using girl power, you kicked him hard on his stomach making him go backwards giving you enough space to escape as your legs went on auto speed, that was when you heard a song which made you freeze, it was lovely, smooth and enticing.
Before you could do anything your body was moving on it's own mind towards the merman who has his hand out with a smirk on his face...
"Y/N!!!!"
A male voice broke the trance making you gasp for breath, and swimming to the surface
"Where have you been?" Andy screamed in fear seeing you shocking for breath
"A storm is coming" he said again sweeping you from your feet carrying you in a bridal style. Looking at the ocean before your eyes shut, you saw the merman head a little above the water with his brow furrowed
