The dark has it's monsters, everytime in your room you would see a shadow pass by, the sounds under your bed were scary. You would always tell your parents but they push it aside saying it was your imagination
When you are sleeping you would feel a presence watching you, your every turn was noticed. There was a time you opened your eyes and saw it by the window just standing, just there with a purpose of watching you sleep
After that night, you told your parents to check the room. They checked up and down, sides to sides but nothing, they saw nothing.
Your parents were getting frustrated from screams heard in the night, so they installed a CCTV camera in your room.
What they saw made their jaws drop in fear, not was the creature monstrous, it was ugly and scary. Your mother ran towards your room but saw no one, but the camera was still recording a monster. She also passed where it stood and went through the creature's body
Unfortunately, only cameras and you could see the creature for now. And that means a no no!, Nobody in their right mind would live in a haunted house forever. But this time you have to stay in forever because it wouldn't let you go
This night you decided to confront the monster, you waited until midnight when it would crawl out of the shadows. You sat down on the bed as the creature came out, it was hell ugly and the smell of death was it's aroma
It stood there staring at you with eyes unreadable....
"Why do you stay and stare at me?" You asked it with courage
"Because I want to know you better" it replied making you numb. It can talk this whole time, this just get more confusing.
"You can talk!, How?, Why?.... What are you?" Unlimited questions kept pouring from your mouth but it remained silent for a period of time
"Y/N, you are.... Different, you didn't drive me away but talked to me" it said softly coming to you
"That space is close enough!" You snapped at it, "can't you.... Shape shift into something less hideous?" You asked it with fear in your eyes
"You don't feel comfortable with my real form then I'll change" with that, it changed to the most handsome boy you have ever seen
"How about this!?" It asked uncomfortable
"You look good... Wait so you can shape shift all this time and..., Why do you want to know me better?" You asked seriously
"When you were younger, you mistakenly fell into my den, you were lost in the forest at night, cold and lonely. I couldn't just leave you alone and eat your soul, so I took you back to your first location" as it spoke you were beginning to recall, but the 'eat your soul' part was what made you fear it much better
After different strange conversation, you discovered it was a monster that has a tiny human part which feels emotions, well the rest part was...
Days passed by and your parents knew about the monster, but your worst decision was taking him to your school. Every single one wants to be his friend, but he hated them all.
There was a time, a male teacher smiled at your performance and that was the end of the teacher, he lost all his tooth and was paralyzed for life
The entire school was filled with rumours about the strange hospitalized teacher. That was the beginning of people who smiled at you being in the hospital or found dead
You knew it was the monster of course, that's why you tried to put a space with him and it became worse. Your parents decided to leave forever into a new place
You were with the monster (Jace), on the last day of seeing him...
"Y/N, do you want to leave me?" It asked a question so sensitive and annoying
"Why ask?"you said looking elsewhere
"I sense it in you!" It wasn't lying, you definitely want to leave him for good
"No Jace, I won't leave you" a lie you tried to stop came out of your mouth
"Promise me" he said with a slight smile
".... Promise!" You smiled back at him, but crossed your finger
The next day before midnight, you were already long gone, but you left a note behind.
During midnight, he crawled from the shadows only not to find you...
"Y/N!" It called but no reply came back
"Y/N!!" It called again but still no reply. It wanted to call again but saw the note you left behind...
