At the other side of the forest a handsome figure appeared near the human village. He had silver hair flowing down covering half of his eyes, his eyes that were grey in color but could also pass as silver were illuminated under the moonlight. An annoyed smile was placed on his perfectly chiseled face giving off an air of arrogance around him. He was lean and had perfect height. He decided to give himself a break and take a small walk in the human town. A bored expression formed on his face as there was no one to spook in the town.
'Who knew that humans are so bent on being so punctual about time.' An evil grin appeared on his face as he saw a man passing through the dark alley.
"We never miss a rotten apple in a pile, now do we? "He said not addressing any one to be precise.
"I could as well have my fun now. "
He approached on of the buildings near the alley. His dark attire blended very well with the darkness that surrounded the alley. The man seemed really anxious about something as he kept looking around nervously. He kept rubbing his arms against each other.
'I wonder what this stupid human could be planning to do out here. ' He looked curiously at them waiting for the action to unfold itself.
Just then another man appeared from the other end of the alley he was short in statue and very plump that he was finding it very hard to breath. Shun could hear his laboured breathing from where he was. That was a very sharp contrast to the other man who was very slim. He looked like a mere strong wind would be able to blow him away.
"Rhea have you brought what we agreed on?" The plump man addressed his other fellow.
"This things are not very easy to find but I was able to find one of the portions you how stingy the witches are?" Rhea answered his friend Roy as he removed a small round bottle. But before the man named Roy could get his hands on the portion Rhea retrieved the his hand and removed his other empty hand.
"Where are the scrolls you were supposed to bring them in exchange for this portion."
"I never know the witches would stoop this low to work with some of the humans. But have to admit they are the easier to deceive." Shun whispered under his breath as the portion had piqued his curiosity.
The plump man whose name was Roy dipped his hands in his pocket and shoved out a knife. He pushed it towards Rhea aiming at his heart but missed since the man was fast to react. Rhea look astonished due to the sudden attack.
"Roy laughed did you expect me to keep my end part of the deal? I was not born an angel bro."
"Now hand me that potion before I kill you."
Rhea kept his guard up as he did not have any weapon with him and knew that he was at a disadvantage. He threw a punch at Roy who evaded it with so much ease.
'Well for a fat dude he is so agile.' Shun looked dreamy like he had just won a bet. Roy threw heavy punches like bullets throwing him to the ground. He then took his knife and slit his throat in half killing him instantly.
"Well that was fast. Humans are really the most dangerous creatures and they blame it on us for their mistake." Shun was about to leave when the plump man took the portion from the hands of the already dead man. He walked back and jumped from the building where he had been watching from. He started clapping his hands gaining the attention of the man who's name was Roy.
"That was a nice show too bad you ended it that fast. "
Roy knew he would be in trouble for leaving a witness who would expose him later. He removed his knife thinking that it was just another human. Unknown to him it was something he would never raise his tiny hands on.
"Sorry fatso but today I ain't in the mood to engage in a fight, just hand me that portion like a good boy and I will be on my way like nothing ever happened."
"Hahaha, you expect me to be that stupid to be shaken by mere words. What is your name? I would like to know the name of the man whom I kill?"
"I don't see the reason of telling a man who is already dead my name."
The man looked furious at Shun's words.
"Don't worry I'll make your death real quick." Shun laughed at the man's word and decided to finish him real quick.
He moved at a speed that shocked the man.
"Yo... You a... Are not a human are you? "
"Took you such a long time to realize that, why do you look so so scared? I thought you had the guts to say that you would kill me?"
Regret passed through the man's eyes as he noticed Shun's grey eyes. His eyes opened wide in shock and his mouth opened wide.
"Close your mouth we don't want you swallowing a fly do we now? "
"You are a... A" Shun walked towards the man who started walking backwards. Shun could not leave him alive.
"For a human you seem well versed with the creatures that walk on these lands." He grabbed the man's hands and stabbed the him using his own knife. He then took the bluish looking portion from him. He kept it in his pocket and looked at the two men bodies.
He took the two men's bodies and took them near a corn maize farm outside the town and "borrowed" a spade from the shed. After digging a big enough hole he hid the two bodies inside and covered the ten feet hole, okay well it was deep. He returned the spade back from where he picked it.
He looked around and removed a cigar from his right pocket and started smoking. He then decided to walk around the forest to calm his flaring nerves. He had a voice deep inside the forest.
"Who is crazy enough to be in the forest now. Geez this town is even more crazy than I thought."
