Shun followed the sound of the galloping horse up to the deep edge of the forest. He saw a young woman with long flowing black hair. She looked so beautiful as she rode on the black horse.
"So you are this crazy to walk in just this place without knowing how many people would like to pounce on that delicate body of yours?"
She had her back facing him so he could not quite see her face. He decided to scare her just for his amusement. He followed her like a shadow.

Aqua could feel someone that someone or something was following her. She thought she saw something like a shadow move but when she looked again she saw nothing.
"May be i'm just imagining things too much." Goosebumps had already started forming on her body due to the cold but she didn't care. She had the snapping of twigs behind her and the crickets stopped chirping. The forest felt so eerie.
"This silent is just too loud." Aqua said as she looked around wondering what made the forest go silent all of a sudden. That's when she realized that she was not alone.
"Seems like I have some company Knight." She whispered to her horse but in the silent forest it was no whisper. Shun laughed at her words but looked at her back with curiosity.
"You are not a damsel in distress, are you?" He figured that she was no human to sense his presence that fast. He could hear her steady heart beat. He smirked at himself making him look evily handsome.
"This night just got better. "
The sense of danger grew stronger as Shun approached her. Aqua could feel something approaching her from behind and immediately pulled her guard up. Her hands never left the horse reigns but Shun could feel the dangerous aura oozing from her body.
Shun covered his face with his hoodie and appeared in front of them causing the horse to go berserk. Aqua almost fell from the horse but she tightened her grip.
"Whoa... Whoa calm down boy there now. That's it cool off." Knight calmed down after but the figure never budged even for once. If Aqua could see his face he could see his lips pull up to form a smile that never quite reached his eyes as he saw her struggling with the horse.

When she was done she turned to look at him anger evident on her face. But the grin on his face fell after he saw her face.
'How could it be. She is still alive?'
Shun was so shocked that he did not see her coming to attack her. Aqua almost kicked him but the figure held her leg. Shun could not believe that she was still alive. All this while he had thought that she died he had seen her body.
Aqua kicked him with her other leg and he released her other leg. Aqua fell on her but due to the imbalance caused by the fall. She could not see his face clearly but his grey eyes was the only thing she saw. The guy stopped attacking her, not like he had even initiated any fight as she was the one who attacked him first.
Now all he did was to evade her without doing anything. Aqua found it weird.
'Seems she doesn't remember me.' A frown formed on his face as the thought crossed his mind. He left her and started walking away from her. He had to find out what really happened back then.
"Hey, are you scared to fight me?" Aqua shouted after him but he just ignored her shouting and continued to walk. Aqua was so irritated because of being ignored by this crazy guy. She threw a punch at him from behind but he evaded it with much ease. Shun could imagine smoke coming out of her ears.
"Are you provoking me?"
Shun finally turned to look at her and said, "you are not worthy my time."
Shun smiled when he saw her flared face but a painful grint passed through his eyes for only a second that someone could have missed it. He vanished before her eyes, he had to meet someone to solve this puzzle for him. Aqua left the place and walked towards the academy more confused than he was when she arrived.
"I felt like I had known him before." She ignored the thought and walked out of the forest. Shun watched the figure as it left from where he had been hiding.
"Something is going on here." Shun knew the only person who could help him was the see. Shun dissapeared from the place and reappeared at the outskirts of the Mercoda city. He walked around like he owned the place his hands placed in his pockets. He walked which almost looked alike. He came across a house with a number 041 on the door frame. It was a one storey building with a white tiled roof.
It was almost 3am when he knocked on the door. A young blonde lady opened the door, she had black eyes. The woman looked surprised to saw Shun at her door that late.
"Is someone dying that you have to wake me up this late?"
The serious look on his face told her that he was in no mood for jokes.
"Will you let me in? Or do you want to become tomorrow's headline on your neighbors mouths."
Her name was Zia. She moved from the way to let him pass. Shun slumped himself on the sofa as soon as his body touched the sofa. He ran his fingers through his hair in frustration.
"Would you like some coffee, water or blood?"
"None of the above. I see that you've adopted the human lifestyle really well?"
Zia went towards the kitchen and came back cup of warmed blood.
"Thank you. What are you here to find out, because it doesn't look like nothing? "
"Aqua is alive." Zia spurt out the blood in her mouth and her eyes rounded in shock.
