"We don't have to leave just yet." Abby argued as she glanced at Seth.
I don't pause, I wake the sleeping couple.
"It is time to leave." I inform them.
Garrett rubbed his eyes as they peeled open. If he notices Austin's arm around his waist he doesn't say anything.
"We should have dinner first. Together. Like a farewell dinner. It will be the last time I would eat with you guys." Sofia says in a defeated voice.
Something inside me deflates, I don't know why I am so adamant on going right now. Or not letting her come with me.
"Can I have a word with you? Alone?" Seth says suddenly.
My heart jumps at the sound of his voice. I force myself to stay grounded. I shouldn't get swayed by this.
"Say it here." My voice comes out robotic. Perfect. I didn't want to be alone with him. I have no idea how much I can control myself when it was just us.
