He spits out the white pill he had slipped into his mouth whilst I was not looking. I bark out a laughter.
"I knew you could not do it, you love your life too much to give it to someone else. You are a business man, you don't give without taking, and there is nothing you can get for giving up your life for someone who wouldn't know what you did, or even care."
He sighed, and spits out what I assume was the remaining of the pill.
"You will never know where they are hidden. I won't say."
I drop to the ground, placing my ear on the wood and try to hear anything from beneath. I strain my ears until I hear the whirring of mechanical equipment.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?"
"You heard something?" Erin asked with a nod of the head.
I hop up and walk to the wall, I have heard that sound before. Like a machine producing something in bulk. I only hope it was not chopping their heads down there.
