"No." Came a ragged whisper. I don't have to turn around to find Seth there, I know he was there, seeing his best friend like I was seeing him at the moment. He let out a cry that was painful to hear. Tearing my heart to shreds at the sound of it.
I hear identical gasps of horror from behind me, the rest of them had obviously seen the massacre committed by our kind.

He couldn't seem to find the right questions to ask. A scream tore out of him again, an anguished, soul wrecking scream.
"You were hiding.. how did this even happen?" he asked his best friend. But with eyes rolled back, and mouth open forever in silent agony, he was never going to answer the question.
"Let us go, we will call the cops to handle it." I hear Abby tell him.
