But it doesn't seem right. If that was her only problem, she wouldn't leave her only child alone and kill herself. She must have been put under pressure. It could be pressure that she put on herself. And where does pressure most of the time comes? Guilt. Pain. Sorrows. So what I'm trying to say here is, it has a greater chance that Alec did kill Lucian that resulted to Elizabeth resorting to having suicide. She couldn't take the guilt—that Lucian died because of her. She couldn't take the pain and hatred she had for Alec. But although she badly despised him, for sure there was still a part of her that loved him. And she hated that. She didn't want to feel something for someone who killed a person dear to her. That was when she knew she was left with no choice but to end it tragically.
