"I told you. I can quit–"
"Don't tell me to quit! I want you to play, okay? We'll meet at school. And I can go with you every time you have practice. That's okay with me," I told him impatiently.
Even I had a hard time convincing him because I also wanted a longer time with us. But I know that deep inside him, he wants to play. It's already a part of him. Before we became he was already doing that. I should support him on that.
Eventually, he also gave in to my persuasion and agreed to what I wanted to happen.
So before intramurals, that's what bothered me. Their practice starts at two o'clock so if there are any group works, I make sure I do it in the morning so that I am free in the afternoon. Often, he would have picked me up first so that we would have time to talk. Those little interactions are enough to lighten my day.
