I looked up.
"What?"
"I will be Mr. de Guzman's sub for your oral defense. He asked me to do it."
My eyes rolled.
"Y-You what?"
"I'll be one of the panelists."
I drank water in panic. I didn't know that's possible! He's still a student, ah? I had never heard of that before so I didn't know it was possible!
Mr. de Guzman must have trusts him so much to do that. Is he really that smart?
He chuckled at my reaction.
"Don't be nervous. Want to know the questions? I can also provide you answers if you want."
I was even more surprised. I looked around to see if anyone had heard him. Fortunately, it looks like nothing.
"Don't even say that!" I reprimand.
"I'm not smart but I don't cheat, Rustov. I guess you underestimate me too much?"
He smirked. "I'm not underestimating you, Audrey. I just thought you wanted help."
