Kirk said goodbye after we had lunch. I thought my day would turn out to be morbid, but I felt a little relieved by what Kirk and I did. Besides, I remembered that Rustov and I would meet later. So instead of idling in my room or strolling around social media, I just looked for something to wear in the bistro. I don't want to make it too special, though.
"I'll just text you, Kuya," I said to Kuya Edu before getting out of the car.
When I entered the bistro, Enzo spotted me right away. He greeted me and guided me there to the private table prepared for us. He told me he could make the place exclusive for us for the night. But I said it's okay even if it's not. Janice volunteered to be the one to rent the entire bistro but I stopped. What's important is to at least celebrate my birthday.
"Happy birthday," Enzo whispered while his hand was around my shoulder.
