I brushed my hair and wondered if anything was missing from the tools. Also remembered later.
"Oh, that. Did you bring it? I forgot about the amount of things I've done lately."
He licked his lower lip and nodded.
"Yeah, I noticed you're quiet busy lately. It's good you don't have dance practice right now?"
"We're done there. But we have a last practice on Friday so we're really ready for the presentation next week."
"Good then."
"Uh, the notebook?" I asked.
"It's at home. Just take it to your next visitor," he said, staring at me deeply.
"Alright. I'll be the first. I didn't get enough sleep last night so I'm sleepy," I told him.
"I can see that," he said softly.
"I'll go ahead ..."
"Okay ..." He nodded.
I turned around and was about to open the backseat door when he called my name. I stopped and turned to him.
"What is it?"
"Reply to my texts," he said seriously.
