After that brief conversation Mike left us to entertain the other guests. Even the mayor himself was there. Laine and I just went to the table where our acquaintances were so it wouldn't be too boring.

"I don't know about you Laine." I just shook and sipped orange juice. A dedication speech given by Mike's mother started the celebration. Mike also gave his own speech but I could not follow what he was saying when my eyes suddenly caught sight of the two men who had just arrived at the venue.
