"Why did you bring me here?" I asked, staring at the wide forest park in front of me. The cedars' leaves with different shades of green made the place appear so alive. The leaves dance with every gust of the wind.
I've seen the place once. Mommy and I once passed by here when I was just visiting her. I didn't have the chance to wander around, though. As what I've remembered, she told me it's Lynnwood's largest park. For a city girl who loves the sprawling city, I think being in the county is like a breath of fresh air.
"Because I think you haven't explored Lynnwood yet," Carter replied from behind me.
After we went to the mall we ate at a café before he brought me here. Unlike before, I was no longer so scared of riding his motor. He did not fail to calm me down. I was calmed by that. There was something in his presence that told me I'd be safe as long as he's beside me. It was strange but somehow comforting.
