V2 Chapter 8 - Archmega is Defeated
"I really am Archmega."
"If you're Archmega, I'm Metal Paladin."
How could Madana believe that this doll-like beauty with blonde hair was coming and talking about herself as Archmega? While drinking the brown sugar that Amy had prepared, she shouted back in a soft voice.
Archmega is a giant robot about eight feet tall. That's why Madana also thinks that the pilot inside is a longing and upright uncle like The Rock. How could it be a lolli like this, who isn't sure if she is five feet tall or not?
Madana didn't seem to believe it, and Fralita pressed the watch on her wrist. A moment later, with the sound of a jet engine, the Archmega robot began to destroy the roof of Madana's container house and descend. In other words, when this loli summon, it goes into Autopilot mode and immediately arrives from a distance.
The incident was huge, and many people saw it, causing an uproar in the street where the container house is.
"Can you believe it? I'm Archmega. Call the Silver Knight; I have a reckoning with him."
As soon as Archmega finished her lullaby, she knelt down like a warrior. After that, a door opened from the chest, revealing the pilot's room inside. The pilot's seat was perfect for a girl like Fralita to sit snugly in. A small bar that can be used as a seat and some levers are placed inside to control the arms.
Madana couldn't believe her eyes. 'So Archmega is a Combat Warframe, not a suit like mine. And the pilot is a little girl.'
The girl on the other hand came to the house and wanted to fight with her. Madana couldn't help but sit and watch as she came to admit that she was a great enemy. She pulled out a silver box hidden under the bed and replied, "Nice to meet you, Archmega... I'm the Silver Knight you've been looking for."
Then she pressed a button on the box and waited for the automatic suiting system to work. A moment later, the silver warrior was standing in front of the nearly eight-foot-tall black warrior. Luckily, they were talking behind closed doors, and even though the roof was gone, no one had seen Madana dressed like that. They could hear the sound of hero reinforcements coming; apparently, they saw Archmega returning.
Fralita had already entered Archmega and pointed her finger at Madana as she stepped inside.
"S...SilverKnight... Are you a girl? Not the blonde-haired knight of my imagination?"
The silver warrior standing on the other side said while scratching her head (actually rubbing a large metal head), "I'm sorry for crushing your sweet dreams. Not every hero can have blonde hair and blue eyes. And they don't need to."
Suddenly, Archmega swung a sword. The momentum caused Archmega to lose balance and crash into the wall of the container house.
The weight of Archmega was enough to collapse the metal container walls.
In the chaos, they both found themselves in the house. Antie Olivia, who was in the adjacent room, rushed out at the sounds of the commotion.
"Madana, I know a girl has been visiting your house, but it shouldn't be that rough!" Before Antie Olivia could finish her sentence, Archmega emerged and tossed Madana's wardrobe aside. The silver warrior quickly dodged a large metal wardrobe that flew past her. Soon, clothing—blue skirts and white tops—flew through the air.
"My precious clothes..." Madana exclaimed in frustration.
Seeing the warframe emerging from Madana's room, Antie Olivia panicked and ran away, fearing for her life.
The others nearby clamped their hands over their ears at Antie Olivia's loud voice, but it didn't affect Madana and Fralita, who were now focused on each other.
Fralita glanced at the sword in Madana's hand and couldn't help but comment, "Did you upgrade that sword last week?"
The sword Madana wielded was not only made of solid metal but also utilized advanced technology. It was designed to enhance the weight of the sword dramatically. Madana had tested a new technology called the Gravity Engine, which allowed her to manipulate the sword's weight instantaneously. For this system, Madana had installed a dedicated reactor in her sword, transforming it from an ordinary weapon to a high-tech blade.
Madana swung her sword like a bird and launched it towards Archmega.
Archmega, however, raised both arms to deflect the attack. Yet the sword, being light and agile, swiftly darted past Archmega and crashed against the wall, creating a large dent.
Madana lifted her hand and sent the sword flying back to her. The sword responded instantly, returning to her grasp as if it were magnetically drawn.
Archmega, now steadying herself, gathered energy from the surrounding environment and prepared for another strike.
"The match is over, SilverKnight... You can't keep up with my techniques that are a millennium ahead of you."
Immediately, dozens of light swords flew into the air, shooting towards Madana like laser beams. Madana swung her sword, deflecting some light beams and dodging others. Thankfully, these particles of light were not real; otherwise, she might have been in grave danger. They appeared to be special particles that exist in a plasma state, akin to glowing fireflies, capable of forming objects. Thus, they weren't as fast as light nor sharp enough to damage metal, but they could create complex patterns, allowing for effective attacks.
Just a week ago, if Madana had faced Archmega, she would have stood no chance. But now it was different. Archmega might be more powerful, but Madana relied on her equipment to level the playing field.
Madana raised her hand defiantly. "Young Lady, you're sick."
Madana's eyes in the silver warrior's suit glowed with silver light. In their previous battle, she hadn't been able to use Technotelekinesis because she didn't understand Archmega's structure. Even now, she didn't fully grasp it, but she had a rough idea. She only needed to toggle the power on and off.
While Fralita in the black warrior suit was manipulating the light particles, suddenly, her equipment shut down, plunging her into darkness.
"What... what happened!?" Fralita exclaimed, disoriented.
Outside, the black warrior's power unexpectedly ceased, causing her to stumble. Meanwhile, Madana, now fully aware, reached out to extract the black warrior's suit from the crowd.
If they left this loli and Archmega suit here, the Hero Association would catch them.
