Chapter 19 - Chapter Eighteen

Gair's POV

I had done exactly what my master had said. Wipe their memory. I ended up placing a false memory in there with some random prostitute I had found on the street. No one would miss her, but it had been a bitch for me to figure out how to get her out of the picture. In the past, Jack had needed the love of his life and everyone important to him to vanish in order to throw himself into his work to create Lu. My king was supposed to watch Jack from the spirit world and wait for the right time to enter the body. However, for some reason my king could not take over the full body, which resulted in Lu's consciousness being born. Tsk.

Gair glared at the passing trees. Things got so fucked. Why wouldn't we just keep his fucking memories and just force him to do our bidding. My king was literally the incarnation of the most powerful being.

Gair glanced over at Jack who had since fell asleep. On his lap sat Lu, well Poa. His eyes bore into his own, which creeped him out. I had been following him since the day I brought them back to the little fake fairytale. Poa/Lu had morphed into his human form. Gair didn't understand because he thought his master told him Lu wouldn't be able to do that.

Gair quickly looked away and kept driving. He needed to get to this place quick.

After several hours of driving, we finally made it to the docks. We would have to take a ship the rest of the way. The king's empire had been on a desolate island away from the prying eyes of the humans. Actually the prying eyes of everyone.

I shook Jack awake, which got a growl out of Lu. He hates me without even remembering me. Well damn. Shaking my head, I plaster a smile on face and lift my hands in the air. "Woah there pup" I say, "Just gotta wake the old man up, so we can move on our way."

Jack groaned awake and stretched. He held Lue close to his body. "Are we here?" Jack asked looking around and frowning.

"No we still have a ways to go, but we have to take the ship the rest of the way." I said looking at him with boredom. My master and king definitely owes me after this. Flashbacks of sweat, cum, spit, blood, and chains quickly passed through my mind. I had to hold in a groan and turn around. I could not wait for our reunion. Five hundred years just seemed so long, but for us it was really just a blink of an eye.

Stepping out of the car, I went around and opened the door for Jack. He climbed out holding Lu. We continued our way to the entrance of the docks.

"Wait here." I said taking a step toward the ticket booth. "Hi I need two moles..... I mean tickets for the ferry." I paused. "We have a dog, as well."

The lady at the ticket booth was an old woman with a mole near her nose and by her lip. She had to be in her 80's I swear. She smiled, and her teeth looked as if she had been using meth or some shit. I hesitantly smiled back. Quickly handing over the money, I grabbed the tickets. The woman brushed her rickety fingers on my hand, which resulted in me pulling away as if I got burnt.

"There won't be a ferry until tomorrow. You best get a motel." She said looking me up and down. I shuddered. "Across the street is The Bell Motel. It's the only place within a hundred miles. I'm sure they will have an opening for you sweetheart." She purred that last part making my stomach churn.

"Thanks." I muttered and left her rapey looking stare.

I made it back to Lu and Jack, who had been looking out into the water. I observed Jack. He actually was kind of cute. He was taller than my 5'6 height. He had to be over 6'. His dark brown curly hair and glasses made him look like a nerd, but his body was lean. I could see his muscles pushing against his light blue button up shirt and black jeans. Something stirred inside me, but I pushed it aside. I just wanted my master back, nothing else. Plus, the guy liked his little creation, which to me was creepy since he was like Lu's dad. Gross.

I was snapped out of my thoughts, as I made eye contact with Jack. His soft bright brown eyes seemed to look into my soul. Putting on my mask, I walked closer to them.

"The ferry won't be back until tomorrow." I said looking everywhere except at his eyes. "Let's get back into the car. There is a motel across the street."

Jack, Lu and I jumped into the car and quickly drove across the street and parked. I had Jack stay in the car with Lu, so they wouldn't see the dog. I'm not paying that fee.

As I walked into the hotel, all I could smell was musty wet cigarettes. The carpet looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years with yellow walls. I didn't know if the walls were supposed to be yellow or not, but I tried not to think about it. I walked to the front desk, where a skinny man sat flirting with an older woman who looked to be dressed as one of the housekeepers. They continued to talk, until I cleared my throat. I got a glare of the housekeeper, until she saw me. Her eyes went wide, and she immediately perked up pushing her breasts up to get my attention. Her brown short hair curled around her ears. I ignored her and walked up to the man.

"I need a room for three." I said carefully.

"We only have one room left." The man said and spit into a bottle he had sitting next to him.

"I'll take it." I said not caring, since we needed a place. I'm not trying to sleep in my car.

After paying with cash, I grabbed the key. Room 105.

I waked out and got back in the car. I shuddered. I had felt that lady's eyes on me the entire time.

As I got back into the car, Jack stared at me.

"Room 105." I said tossing the key to him. He caught it and nodded.

"Wait." He froze, "We aren't getting separate rooms?"

I chuckled. "No. Why waste the money? We are all men. Plus this is the only room they have left." I said. The man part didn't mean anything, since I was obviously gay, but he didn't know that.

"Oh..yeah you're right." Jack muttered looking away from me.

I started the car and drove around to the back, where I found our room.

Jack got out and let Lu down. Lu walked away to the grass. Must have the use the bathroom, I thought as I went to my trunk, where I had my travel bag.

Jack walked to room 105 and turned the key. The door opened, and just stood there. I walked up behind him confused as to why he didn't go in. Thinking the worst, I put my hand on my gun that I had on my hip. Looking in, I found there to be one king bed in the center.

Fuck me.
