The Infamous Lillian Brown
"Lillian, how did you kill Mr. Smith," screamed one of the detectives. "How did you kill him? "
"Why did you kill him," added the other. "Did you have an accomplice?"
"Say it," I started hearing. "Tell the detectives how you killed Nathaniel, and I'll spare you."
"I didn't do it," I screamed. "I didn't kill Nathaniel."
Confused and shocked by my actions and words, the detectives took a step back.
"Why would I kill him," I asked, abruptly standing up from my chair.
Looking at the figure, I couldn't control the urge. Subconsciously my hands snaked around her neck, slowly getting tighter.
"Are you going to kill me like you killed Nathaniel," asked the figure.
"Shut Up," I screamed, releasing my grip to find that the figure had disappeared.
No one was standing in front of me. I turned around to see the detectives, followed by a doctor.
"Take a deep breath, Ms. Lillian. We are here to help you," said the doctor, taking a step toward me. "Okay."
