Los Angeles, CA.
Sebastian and Jin-joo's place
Inside the bedroom
Placing the short tripod on the table. Jin-joo was busy talking with her kids on video call while tying her hair into a messy bun.
"Seriously mom, if I tolerate this people for one more day, I bet I'll end up going crazy." Whitney complained.
"Sweetie, did your siblings did something annoying again?" Jin-joo smiled.
Whitney clutched her hands on her hair and groaned, "Grr, mommy it's non-stop in this apartment."
Britney whom was also involved in the video call, though she's in her room. She burst into laughter.
Whitney frowned and snapped, "That's indirectly to me, right?"
Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, Britney scoffed, "And if I say yes?"
"Okay, okay, that's it. No fighting right now, you get it? I don't want to generate another headache for today." Jin-joo chided her daughters.
Somewhat she managed to escape her migraine pills today. Her kids are behind that reason. Especially Whitney and Britney. These two merely collide.
Kingston, Winston and Princeton who are individually in their rooms and participants in the video calls, laughed their guts out hilariously.
"But mom, you have to listen to my complaints about Whitney." Britney complained.
"Huh?" Whitney frowned. "Mom, she-"
"That's enough!" Jin-joo shouted and there was silence immediately.
The second person they were always afraid of was her. They feared their father the most. That man is ready to skin their bones if they rebel against his rules.
"Do you want me to die? You both are sisters for goodness sake, act like one, behave like one." She sighed.
Chiming in, Princeton said, "Mom, the main source to your daily headaches is no other persons than Whitney and Britney."
"Yes mom. Princeton, Winston and I always end up a referees. They even fought today all because of a seat." Kingston added.
Whitney and Britney bit their lower lips, tucked themselves backwards from the phone's screen and buried their heads from the incoming chides.
Jin-joo noticed their weird behaviors instantly and she instructed, "Sit up."
The two silly munchkins slowly sat upright and lowered their heads.
"Was that true? Did you two pull out a fight between yourselves?" When they did not answer, Jin-joo snapped, "Are you two deaf?"
"Mom, why do I always feel like I'm the only one getting all the blame?" Whitney brittle. Pretending to shed tears.
"Mom, Whitney called me a back seat warmer and you know how much I hate getting insulted. It makes me wanna lose my patience." Britney complained.
Jin-joo sighed. What could she possibly do with these two? "First you should be happy that your father is not here. You know how he drills you both, do you?"
"Dad is not home? Where is he?" Winston asked.
"Your father is out of town. He has a business appointment to attend in Belgium." Jin-joo explained.
"Belgium?" Kingston frowned, "Isn't that were billy said uncle Ryan was going?"
"Yes, they flied together." Jin-joo yawned sleepily.
"When is he coming back?" Britney asked. She's the only one who misses Sebastian so much more than the others. If their love rate could be counted, Britney's will be ninety-nine percent and the others will fall at eighty percent. They loved their mother more.
"By weekend."
"But why weekend?" Britney probed. She wants to meet her daddy. Though she talked with him on phone few hours ago and he didn't say anything concerning his absence in the states.
Jin-joo rolled her eyes and sighed, "Brit, you ask too many questions. My head has began to ache, I need to rest now."
"Mom, can I get a bed time story?" Whitney asked. Her brothers rolled their eyes and groaned in frustration.
Does she really have to act like a baby whenever they're with their mother and later act like a witch the next minute?
When Jin-joo shook her head and tried to shu her away, Britney mumbled her lips and began to cry like a five year old kid.
Jin-joo panicked and worried. While the others rolled their eyes over Britney's dramatic character. They knew very well that Britney was trying to make a fool out of herself and jealousy as well.
If Jin-joo admit to read Whitney a bed time story for her alone then Britney will feel her mother loves and only does whatever Whitney says.
"My darling, what's the matter? Talk to momma, my heart is aching." Jin-joo panicked.
Britney chuckled in her heart. Yes, this was what she wanted. To be petted like an essential dog. She wiped her eyes and pouted her lips, "Read me a bedtime story first."
Whitney frowned and gritted her teeths while clenching her hands.
"Okay, I'll read a bedtime story for everyone, is that fine by-"
"Geez, I'm off to sleep." The boys mumbled. They detested bedtime stories. Like seriously, who ask for that at this age?
"King, prince, Wins, render yourselves some helping hand before getting grounded." Jin-joo snapped.
Frowning their faces, they narrowed their eyes at Whitney and Britney in their minds. Damn those two are going have them to delt with.
"But mom, I don't like bedtime stories, I'm not a kid." Kingston complained.
"Yes you are. And you all are going to sit right there and listen to my animal kingdom bedtime story."
